Sizing notes

Bike measurements are stated in millimeters.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nimble Giant Not having heard much about the Diamondback brand recently I was a bit reluctant to pull the trigger on this bike, but the specs for the cost was a hard to beat combo. The frame is beautifully crafted. The tires are even bigger in real life and each time my friends pick it up they are blown away at how light it feels. I have taken in out in the snow several times and the traction is insane ( I am running the front at 3-4psi and the rear at 2-3psi.. but bump it up to about 6-8 on dry rocky terrain). I have never run flats, but after riding in slick icy terrain, I have come to love these flats and the ability to dab a foot in a split second. A few extra notes: There is an opening at the bottom of the seat tube, so it looks like you could run a stealth dropper post and have it pop out above the bottom bracket. The brakes are pretty good, I might upgrade to a 180mm in the front come summer and faster speeds. The only real con I have is you must take care when removing/reattaching the rear wheel because there are 2 loose fitting spacers that you need to hold in place.

Can this wheels/rims be set up tubeless? And a follow up to that question, are the tires tubeless tires?

Asked by: periwinkle
The wheels on this bike are not tubeless compatible. Given the width of the tires and rims, we do not recommend using tubeless kits on this bike.
