Super cush!

Received free product

Hokas are always great. So far, I have been on 3 runs with these and I keep crushing my pace. I think is the rockers. They are so cushioned and comfortable, it's easy to keep going. I also love the look. They are thick soled but don't look it. Overall a great running shoe!

Cushions, but not for trouble-prone feet

Received free product

The Clifton’s are very comfortable and soft, but if your have weak ankles and need support, the extra cushion may cause your feet to pronate. I was much more aware of my foot strike and it felt overly soft and like it was rolling to the side. If you have had problems with your feet, you may want a more stable shoe. I would definitely run through these shoes fast and would have to change them out more often with the amount of miles I put in.

A more streamlined Clifton

Received free product

As a hospital worker and road runner, my Clifton 9s have been well worn and well loved. I was very excited to try an updated model and add another pair of work/running shoes into the rotation. The 11s are more streamlined than previous models, with a sleeker look and less wide toe box. The nub on the back of the shoe is also smaller than my 9’s. Overall, the 11’s have a more casual, tennis shoe look compared to previous models. I can easily wear these with black pants at work and not stand out as much. As with any Hoka, they’re incredibly light and feel like a dream to run in. They’re great beginner road shoes because nothing is too stiff and the cushion is very soft. I didn’t have any issues or hot spots on my runs, and they were great to wear at work. These shoes should be worn with inserts, and the inserts they came with are mostly nonexistent. I would recommend purchasing a pair recommended for your arch type when you buy them, so you can break in the shoe and insert at the same time. Lastly, the tread pattern is more front loaded than my 9s (which were diagonal). The V pattern allows for more grip on terrain that’s not just pavement. I wouldn’t take these on a trail, but pavement, dirt city paths, and dry grass would be fine. I never fell or had issues in my previous shoes with a different pattern, but this is a good tread for a more flexible road running shoe. Even without inserts, the Clifton 11s are easy to run, walk, stand, or live in. Their design is more streamlined, while maintaining the lightless, cushion, and comfortability Hoka is known for. With inserts, itll last the wearer a long time.

Very poor substitute for the Clifton 10

Longtime Clifton 10 wearer which I love. I wear everyday all day as walking shoe. 8 Wide. The Clifton 11 has the same footbed but a shallower toe box and loss of padding at the heel. The heel lip is so rigid could cut an apple. Why oh why do manufacturers take a perfect shoe and skimp on the upper to what? Save a buck?? I would recommend stocking piling some Clifton 10s until Hoka wakes up and listens to customers.

I Am Hopeful ThesemWill Be The Ticket!

So far so good! I returned a pair of Brooks shoes I bought and thought would be great but they hurt my feet so much I couldn’t wear them. These seem to have adequate cushioning as well as good support and a good heel to toe drop. I have a shortened gastrocnemius muscle from posterior tibial tendon rupture repair and this should help pitchers stress on that calf. Length is good. Width is good. Plenty of room for toes. Comfortable. Seems like a good choice.
