Why buy aftermarket insoles? 

• More durable than most included insoles
• Can provide more structure and support
• Help with physical conditions like plantar fasciitis, structural misalignment, supination or overpronation
• Help with fit issues like heel slippage, foot elongation, or low or collapsed arches

Insole volume

• High-volume: best for high arches; used in hiking boots, ski boots or running shoes
• Medium-volume: works for a variety of arches; best for casual shoes and some athletic footwear
• Low-volume: very low arches; work best with cycling shoes, in-line skate boots or ski skate boots

Insole care

• Air them out after wear
• Spot clean or wash by hand with mild detergent
• Periodically inspect for deterioration
• Replace every 12 months or so
