Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looks great; performs as advertised. The Metropolitan+ was a good choice for a watch that keeps track of basic exercise activities. It is easy to synch via Bluetooth to the app, which is easy to use. My only gripe is that it was somewhat difficult to initially synch with my smartphone vis Bluetooth. The instructions were not extremely clear, but after sticking with it for a few minutes, the watch was able to synch with the smartphone. After that initial issue, every subsequent synch has been flawless. I recommend this watch if you are looking for a no-nonsense activity tracker, coupled with a great looking watch that keeps time accurately.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Construction I would not buy this product. I purchased this watch to double as a work watch and fishing/camping watch because it looks nice but not too fancy. After about two months of occasional use, it failed in the middle of a fishing trip. I went to check the time and realized the button had completely fallen off. This should never happen on any watch. You could expect to accidentally pull the button out regularly, as the button is highly sensitive to come out (I had to correct the date multiple times before this incident). Eventually the button will fall off and you won't even know how.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great watch, terrible watch band The watch itself is fine, accurate to within 1 sec after three months. The crown does pick up scratches over time, so the glass is not all that hard. The watch band was a big disappointment. After three weeks use, the clasp broke. Luckily I noticed it was loose on my wrist so it didn't fall off of my wrist. I bought a much sturdier band on-line...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Temperamental Scout, needs careful setting up... Got the Scout on Christmas Day. Lovely watch. Read carefully the set up instructions online. Some folks say the crown comes out. In the instructions it tells you to screw this in clockwise when setting up. It needs adjusted carefully as if it is in too far the Indiglo will not work. And to get the date to set the crown screw point is essential. You can adjust it in and out until finally the middle setting point for the date will work. It is a silly way to make a watch, but it works if you make the proper adjustment to the crown screw. Make sure the crown is screwed in clockwise some when you finish adjusting date or you may lose it as some reviewers have done, and as sell, your watch will not be water resistant if crown is not screwed in. I love the look and feel of this watch and now have it properly set up...hope it lasts.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Good look, bad watch I bought this watch with my REI Dividend despite the poor reviews. After having to reset the date and time on multiple occasions, the crown completely fell off for no reason. I loved the look and feel of this watch but am disappointed in its poor construction.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Good looking watch but not durable/reliable Needed a simple watch. Liked the look, feel and price of this unit. After about a month I had to reset it every other month. After about 4 months the adjustment knob fell off and the watch stopped working. Based on the other posted review, this may not be an isolated problem....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I always depended on a Timex It was 1973, I was 13 years old. I walked into a drug store in Chaska Minnesota. "I needed a watch." My first "WATCH"! I recalled the commercials I saw on our black and white T.V., "TIMEX, TAKES a lickin snd keeps on ticking" that was IT. I pointed out that that steely eyed beauty and with all my baby sitting money, bought it. My grandfather was jelious. Because he too had a Timex. Through the years I have had many watches. Rolex, Citizen even antique gold pocket watches. But nothing can bring me back to my first watch. My dependable, TIMEX. So I bought another.... And thats WHAT I where in pride. Thank you TIMEX. A tradition, a watch of an American. GOD BLESS.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I will never buy a timex again. After the first week of owning my scout, the back cover falls out rendering the watch useless. After reattaching the back plate back on the crown stops working rendering my watch useless again because I cannot adjust the time. The replacement watch lasted about 1 month. The crown fell out and watch stopped working. Ill never buy a timex watch again after having TWO watches break within 2 months. The scout might look rugged and well designed but it is not. I bought the watch as my primary work watch. I depended on the watch to help me take the pulse on patients and when it came down to using it on an actual emergency it has let me down twice. Both times I embarrassingly had to borrow someone else watch after realizing mine was not working
