Taking Pictures Matter again
So much fun! It actually makes you think about taking a picture. Looking through the viewfinder gives you the feeling of being in the moment and lining up the shot, instead of just snapping away with a phone. Our daughter loves it and always asks to carry it with her. We can't wait to get home, connect it to the computer, and pull up everything we saw, instead of the pictures just living on a phone. It also keeps the phone separate from the moment, which keeps you in it longer. It really brings back the feeling of taking pictures when I was a kid.
Making photography fun again
I've been just delighted with this little camera. I'm new to camp snaps, but this felt like a great place to start. I'm a professional photographer, and sometimes that means photography can feel like work. Obviously, it's not the same quality as my DSLR or even my phone camera, but that's exactly what makes it so fun. I love that it's screen free, slightly unpredictable and you don't get to see what you took until later. It's put the joy back into photography for me. I've been having an excellent time taking it along on all of my adventures.
Best Camera Ever
This is my second CampSnap camera! I only purchased a new one for the faster shutter time. I take this camera EVERYWHERE! Weddings have been the most fun by documenting the night and not seeing it till I get home. In a world where people are so concerned with how they look in a photo, I love having the ability to not see it immediately. I feel it allows us to live more in the moment and capture the REAL memories!! I've also gotten multiple of my friends to buy one after bringing it to special occasions!
Great snapshot camera
Plastic case is lightweight and sturdy, very pocketable. Hits the camp camera purpose but also great for snapshot aesthetic photographers like myself. Custom filters add another creative level. Wish list: photo metadata could show which filter position used, a simple exposure comp switch +/- .7 or an included optical ND filter, viewfinders matching lens fov. I've been a serious amateur for a couple decades with many high end cameras, but my cspro and cs 201 are the most fun I've had in a long time.
Worth it!
I bought the Camp Snap 2 camera for a 6 night rafting trip. I wanted to capture memories but didn't want to hassle with bringing or charging my cell phone. The camera worked amazingly! The battery lasted the entire trip and I was able to take 450 pictures. Most were in bright daylight and were great quality but even the ones in low light came out pretty good. I only took one with a flash so that helped with battery life. I look forward to using the camera on future adventures.
Great little camera
Does exactly what I wanted, stops me reaching for my phone when I’m out and about. Took it away on a recent holiday to France and very happy with the photos it has taken. The different filters are good, gives me an option to take a standard photo and get a more retro feel. I wasn’t expecting the most amazing quality but I’m surprised with how good some of the photos are. It’s nice to get more candid photos of people. The camera is really lightweight, easy to carry around in a pocket and easy to hold. My family loves trying it out too and it’s nice having to wait to see the photos. The only problem I’ve found is that the viewfinder is really blurry, it’s not a dealbreaker as you don’t always need to use it but it is a little frustrating. Overall I’m very pleased with the camera, will definitely enjoy using it more.
The Camera That Became Part of My Routine
I take my Camp Snap 2 with me almost every day—whether I’m running errands, meeting friends, or heading out for a photo walk. I love the vintage, nostalgic look it gives my photos, something I just can’t recreate with my phone. The best part is how simple it is: just compose, snap, and enjoy the moment. It’s lightweight, comfortable, and easy to carry. More than a camera, it’s become part of my everyday routine and a fun way to capture life as I see it.
Pretty good overall
Bought the Camp Snap 2 for a vacation last week and it was amazing! Super easy to use and import the photos. Only taking a star off because I needed to buy a new SD card immediately because the one provided corrupted the data right out of the box. I would also suggest always using the flash unless you are in full bright sun. I had a few photos turn out pretty much fully dark even though it was bright out because I was in the shadow of a building.
Small camera perfect for walkaround photography
The camera Is insanely good for the price...very nice for amateur photographers for some mind free shots, with beautifil filters integrated...so no need to postproducing, Good also in the evening with some limitation. Excellent for streeters and for Kids. I Hope you could produce a set of dedicated filters/add on lenses, such as macro, Wide/fisheye, star filters, haze filters and other creative ones.
Thank you!
Camp Snap 2 is a great camera for anyone who misses the feeling of real photography without endless settings and checking every shot on a screen. Just point, shoot, and keep going. The photos have a pleasant film-like feel, while the camera itself is lightweight and incredibly simple to use. A great choice for walks, travel, or simply for anyone who wants to enjoy the process of taking photos again.
