More people need to know about this bike company!
Hello, My name is Mike, I purchased this bike on September 21. 2018. This bike is AMAZING! Great parts, lockout for the Rock Shock's fork is a plus. Braking system is great with the SLX parts! If you would like to see the bike in action I put a few videos on my YouTube channel called OUTDOOR ARIZONA. Follow this bikes journey on YouTube!
Climber
Bought this on gut feeling, got lucky. Responsive, fast feeling and fun, with the fork locked it just leaps up hills, and feels stable at 30mph coming down a relatively smooth descent. Coming up on two hundred miles in two weeks and it’s still surprising me. Quality and fun. Marking it down one star for the dire stock saddle and non Deore brakes, though the 315s are fine Deore are smoother. Great bike for the money.
Beginner - lovin' it.
Tore my meniscus last fall and needed to get out for fitness, recovery and sanity (mine and my dog's). Friends and work buddies gave advice on components and suggested some bikes. This one seemed to have all that I wanted for a fair price (even at full price). I was more of a hiker and runner and, even when fit enough to run a marathon, struggled with bad cheap bikes on trails....I hadn't found a bike that was comfortable and capable, or in my price range, but this one just feels so nice to ride. ....Like one guys said in his video, feels like a race car. I'm still a beginner, and mostly riding flats or easy moderate trails, but the more I ride this bike, the more I love it, and the more I want to take on more challenging trails.
Super fun bike for any kind of trail or park
Love my Ghost Kato 6.7. Installed 1 x 10 drive train. 30 teeth front and 11x42 back (needed derailleur hanger extender) . Also removed shock lock (no need to lock it only 100mm) and replaced the saddle. Been riding cross country race, bike parks, single tracks and jump lines. This bike can take it all. Highly reccomend
Five stars and a sore bum
Terrific bike with extremely high quality components. Only problem is the saddle, which hurts like the dickens. This is counterbalanced by the sweet sweet suspension + remote lockout; and it looks real snazzy to boot. Bought this a month ago and I'm still rearing to ride it every day.
Can this bike use a rear rack/rear luggage rack?
Help, want to get this bike for my hubby. He rode it and loves it... only apprehension is can a rear rack/rear luggage rack be installed. If so, what brand/models are appropriate for this bike? A rear rack is mandatory for our bike use.
