Sizing Notes
It’s recommend you start with your traditional ring size. If you don't know your ring size, there are a couple of methods to find your size.
Option 1. Use a cloth tape measure to measure the circumference of your finger and compare that measurement to the ring size guide.
Option 2. Use a piece of string and wrap it around your finger, mark the point of the circumference, and then measure it with a ruler. Compare that measurement to the ring size guide.
Classic QALO rings run about a size snug (Example: traditional size 9 or 9.5 rounds up to size 10 in QALO).
QALO Q2X and Athletics Perforated rings run more true to size (Example: traditional ring size 9 order a size 9 in QALO).

Split After a Few Months - Poor Warranty
Qalo's rings cost 2-3x what their competitors do. When I purchased mine, I assumed that meant they'd stand behind them with a great warranty. Instead, they offer a one-time replacement. That's it. My ring cracked after less-than 6-months. The one-time replacement process has been a bit of a hassle, but more importantly, should the replacement crack, I'll be out of luck. Qalo has direct competitors who offer unlimited no-questions-asked replacement policies, at a lower price point. I wish I'd chosen one of those.
Perfect anniversary gift for active hubby
I know my husband worries about his wedding band when he is hiking and at the gym so since we agreed not to buy pricey anniversary gifts this fit the bill perfectly. He loved it. I did follow review suggestions and sizes up. He wears a 10 in standard rings and bought this in an 11. He said it would have been way too snug if it were smaller.
Do not size up
I sized up according to the description, and both mine and my fiance's rings were too loose. Unfortunately, mine was so loose it was claimed by an ocean wave, so I can't return it. Sizing up half-size might be a good idea for those who have x.5 sized fingers, but my only option was to size up a full size. It didn't work well for me in the end. On the plus side, this is only $20 and I only used it for recreational activities, so my real engagement ring still exists.
better than a real ring
my second ring like this. I broke the first on on something. it saved my finger. first on lasted about 4 years

I bought this for traveling as a substitute to my regular wedding band and it's great, only wish REI had a wider selection in styles and colors.

Perfect for hiking
Works great! Got one before my 9 day trip in the Grand Canyon and it did it’s job! Lost it on day 8 somehow not really sure but it did it’s job! I still have my actual wedding ring! Great product!
Too loose after 2 months
I purchased this ring to replace my original metal wedding band that slipped off when my hands got too cold or too sweaty. This thing fit great and was very comfortable for the first month or so before I noticed it getting a little loose. Today, while on coronavirus lockdown, the Qalo ring that fit snugly two months ago slipped right off my finger. Still not sure where it is in my house, but I feel like it should have stayed snug with normal use for a little longer than 2 months of normal use.
