Company does not stand behind the product… well they do if you are OK with it lasting for one year because that’s all they say it will last… We have several chairs in ours and they will not replace it… Instead they want us to buy a new one at a discount
Protect your gear
I store my 3 sea kayaks outside and covered with Danuu covers to protect them from UV (bad for hatch covers) and assorted crud. I also use these covers when I car-top the boats on long trips, e.g. a few hundred miles. This protects them from stones as well as sun. I've had the covers for a few years and am very satisfied.
Very useful product
Good thing that I was able to find such a nice and easy-to-use cover for my kayak from REI. Very easy to adjust and install on my kayak giving it the protection from the sun and debris. Instructions were simple and the cover was easy to put on. Highly recommended during travel . It is easy to put on and off. It is very well made and very useful product.
Please offer more sizes
The cover seems fine, well-made, and while light in weight, it looks as though it will be durable. I was disappointed when I opened mine to find it cannot be adequately adjusted to the length of my 14'8" kayak. Seven sizes are available from Danuu. Too bad REI stocks only the one. I'm sure you will be pleased with the cover if your boat's the appropriate length.
Will not fit recreational kayak
Great product. Will made. However, it does not fit my recreational kayak (Wilderness Systems Pungo 120), which is too wide for the cover.
Need More Sizes
This bag is durable and well made, but is about four feet too long for my 14’ touring kayak. All the extra fabric creates a lot of drag were I to use this for travel. Please offer more sizes to allow for better fitting and functionality. So for me, this is just an expensive sun shade for the boat.
Not a full cover
Although one cannot tell from the information on the REI website, a little research on the Danuu and NRS websites revealed that this cover is NOT designed to fully cover the boat - it is open at the bottom -- so would not provide full protection. I am very disappointed with REI that this is not apparent on the website.
