Boxy cut, heavy quality

Ordered this as a shirt, but the flannel is rather stiff and better suited for use as a light jacket. Unfortunately, the cut of the shirt is rather boxy and wide, like the examples shown in color "dune" and "deep patina". "Iron grey" and "Autumn leaf" product images suggest a longer, more tailored fit, but unfortunately that is not the case. My "iron grey" shirt came boxy and short.

Awesome shirt/jacket

This is a really well-made garment - sturdy fabric, French seams, big useful pockets (interior and exterior), and very warm for cotton. The fabric is definitely thick and stiff for flannel, but in a way that it will wear in and soften over time and last ages. It’s boxy, but I sized up from my usual XS to S to make it extra oversized and accommodate bulkier sweaters underneath. I got the green color and it’s neutral enough to match with many things. I can see this being way too bulky for some folks, especially if you prefer more technical outdoor gear. If you lean more analog and don’t need the newest fabrics and lightest gear, then this is a winner!! Such a pretty (IMO) and durable shacket!

Awesome Shacket

Excellent quality! Even the inside seams have binding oversewn on them — that’s well made! There are both side pockets for comfortably placing hands, and the breast pockets are roomy enough to easily slip in a big iPhone. Thick fabric blocks chill and looks great over a sweater or sweatshirt. It does run big — definitely size down 1 size! I got one in the store and after wearing it, loved it so much I ordered the other color online. I got two because so awesome - the sage green one and the rust one, which is a fantastic rich fall color. I hope Fjallraven continues to make these each year!

Cozy overshirt

Heavy flannel and beautifully made shirt. I typically wear a medium in Fjallraven, but the small in this fit me better and still had plenty of room for layering.

Low Quality

I loved this flannel - so nice and thick, and seemingly good quality, but I was very surprised by how poorly it held up. I washed it once, in a bag on delicate, and laid it flat to dry. When hanging it in my closet the next day, I noticed a button had completely broken - not just come untie or popped off - fully broken off and was in pieces in my washer. The problem is not my washer. I immediately returned it.

Gorgeous, well-made button-up

Great shacket (shirt jacket)! The brick colored shirt on the store mannequin caught my eye. Soft, thick cotton fabric. Nice and warm. This is a quality garment, and it shows. It’s definitely oversized, so consider that. If you prefer a more relaxed fit, your actual size should work out great and still accommodate layering. Size down if you’d prefer it more fitted. Nice, ample pockets. Love this thing!

Gorgeous

This shirt/jacket is absolutely gorgeous. The inside is as beautiful as the outside. There are six pockets (two inside) and they are large enough for all sorts of things. I ordered the rose cream color and it is very subtle and neutral. As expected, it’s very well-made, warm, cozy, and comfortable.

Well made but stiff

This shirt is well made and mid-weight. The color is rather dark. It is stiffer than I would like. I usually use as Overshirt.

I love the design but too heavy

I wish the fabric was lighter weight. It is just too bulky. I will be returning.

Wow

This shirt is incredible. It’s soft and thick and oversized. I’ve never been a big flannel person, but this caught my eye in the store and I had to have it after trying it on. Very happy with my purchase.
