Excellent REI service, and Scooter.
I order the scooter online and REI build it for me. They made sure how to follow required specs build, and testing as well! I weight 190 lbs without gears Aug 28, 2023 the date I started using Nui Max to go to work. I have no complain, so far since I started using it. The speed is accurate, and handling is stable. Faster than road bikes, and safer to use compare to faster scooters that runs morethan 25mph. I will update you as soon as I have some problem to it. Talk to you soon!
great commuter
Picked up this scooter with a discount code for a good price. It's been a really handy ride for getting back and forth to work and around town for errands. My office is less than one mile from home but up a pretty steep hill. On the steepest parts, it will slow down to 10 mph or less, but then speeds up again to 15mph and more on more moderate inclines and flat sections. The disc brakes work well but need a little adjustment out of the box. I've ridden in some wet weather and haven't had problems so far...hopefully it will stay that way. Be aware that scooters are more twitchy than a bike due to the smaller tires---keep both hands on the bars and wear a helmet!
