Rated 2 out of 5 by from Two Screws into one stud... Screws are right on top of eachother vertically, and the holes are large enough in diameter that the rack will teeter totter unless torqued down very hard. Even then, you can still move it if using with heavier, modern skis. Width is not a problem, even if the skis stick out of the forks. I have 150mm wide megawatts that it holds well, until you take them on or off and the whole rack rocks back and forth. There are a number of ways to sove the problem, the easiest of which would be improving the design by putting a screw hole on each end. Other than that it's a solid rack.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Design flaw These racks are built very solid and are good quality. I have have a pair for years but there is a design flaw that could be fixed easily by the manufacturer. The screw holes are in the middle of the rack which gives them a high turning moment around the middle. These means that unless they are anchored very hard in a stud they soon start to wobble. If the screw holes were at each end the rack could be mounted very solid. I see that the three pair rack is like this and looks much better.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy Mount; Space Saver; Good Storage My girlfriend and I purchased two to hold our four pairs of skis. Due to the stud locations in our storage closet we needed to mount a 2 x 4 piece of wood before installing the racks. I would have given the rack five stars but the prongs need to be longer. Three of our four skis have widths inexcess of 80 mm. The rack holds them but due to short prongs it gave me reservation regarding it's ability to hold wide skis. Three weeks into the installation no issues have arisen so far.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Exactly what I expected - works great! I am not sure what happened with the previous reviewer to cause movement; I can only think it was a misinstallation or screws not sunk into wood. I have no movement problem at all. The length of the support could be updated to be longer for powder and shaped skis. It still works great.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor design Because this is attached only by two screws in the center of the rack, the rack swings up or down each time a pair of skis is put on or taken off the rack. Incredibly dumb design.
