Water and dirt does NOT pass through
Water can NOT pass through. Rain from last night cannot pass through, it sitting in large and small glistening beads across the entire surface along with yesterday's dirt...Ugh. I bought in Sept 2024 and am using this for the first time in April 2025. Not happy with this purchase. The Cgear rv mat I have does not allow pass through as indicated. I am replacing an older cgear mat and that one did allow pass through of sand and water.
High quality & versatile
We bought one of these to use as a ground cloth around our teardrop trailer and it works great for that to keep feet clean and provide a tidy lounging area. It’s huge! And the bright green color on one side was great for spotting ticks trying to move in on us when we found ourselves (eek!) camped in an infested area. Seems very well made with high quality stitching and 4 sturdy D-rings on each side for anchoring to the ground if necessary.
Where has this been all my life
We are obsessed with this mat. It’s become must have for camping as it effectively decreases the amount of dirt tracked into the tent. We also love it for the beach. Somehow it fold down compactly and decently lightly. we are fans of the tote bag. Every time we have it with us, it becomes a source of conversation because friends are so impressed by the sand-free technology, and those friends end up buying one for themselves
Great mat to cover the campsite or for RV
Nice to walk on and a very nice weave that should hold up for quite a while. Dirt and gravel are easy to shake off before folding or rolling back up. This is very large. Make sure you really want a 20' long mat.
Sand-Free Mat for Camper Van
This mat runs almost the length of my camper van (Travato). I love the size. Gives you lots of room to set up your chairs and a table under the awning. I also love that this mat is beg enough that I can set up my ORU Bay ST kayak. It is a bit bulky to store but worth the outdoor space it creates it if you're going to stay put for at least a few days.
A great mat.
Perfect size for our van. The grommets allow for the mat to be staked down in the event of high winds. Sand goes right through the material and is easy to shake out prior to storage. Most of the mats we have used in the past had a solid weave which are very sturdy but you track in the fine material that this mat sifts away.
