Must-have for my work bag!
I bought this originally for camping but have used it almost every day at work. I work in the television industry so am constantly mobile. Sometimes we film in some pretty nice locations (or, on the other hand, pretty varied outdoor spots!) so I don't feel comfortable just leaving my backpack lying about in the conditions. I can hang my bags on the back of chairs, the side of a table, a hook in a garage, or on the headrest of a (very packed) mini van to save space. This keeps my bag clean & looks so much nicer overall! When travelling, I put the Heroclip on a front D-ring on my backpack strap to carry any extra luggage or shopping bags. That way my hands are free! Everyone asks about the Heroclip & I point them in the right direction. This makes an excellent gift for the adventurer, career person, or tactical-minded. Love mine & going back for more!

One major mistake
Nicely made. Kind of expensive for what you get. The main problem is that the plastic thing on the end of the hook is too hard and not grippy enough. It will slide on hard glossy surfaces, limiting the scenarios in which this can be used. A softer rubber gripper would hold on more surfaces, increasing usefulness. In many circumstances, a real carabiner will be as good or better. The only advantage this has over a carabiner is in cases where an open hook shape is needed, and the lack of grip on the end of the hook cuts down the number of such cases where this can be used.

Brilliant

This genius little gadget is infinitely more useful than a regular carabiner. I use it when backpacking to tote a pair of camp sandals on the outside of my pack; when taking my kid for a walk to suspend his balance bike from the stroller handle; when going out to a restaurant to hang my purse from the table or back of my chair. I can’t wait to find even more uses for it. I don’t leave home without it!

Hero gadget for sure

These things are rad, I use them a ton when traveling and camping. Good for keeping packs up at arms reach, especially useful for photography to keep your bag at arms reach on a 360 degree swivel, from the nearest branch or w/e. They've become an invaluable part of my kit.

HEROCLIP keeps my gear off the ground

I have bought several HEROCLIPS in the past year and used them to hang stockings at Christmas (quite the gift), to hang my backpack from a tree, my tackle box, and plan to use one for my solar shower. I gave one to each of my girls to keep their purses off the ground. They are well built, light weight, and durable. Great product and an essential tool for your pack.

Greatest advancement of the carabiner ever!

Hi folks, I am so pleased with my purchase of several that I am wearing one on my belt loop to show my family, friends & coworkers how innovative this product is. Even though I am almost 68 years old, I still enjoy hiking, hunting, camping, fishing, motorcycling, etc. and the possible uses are almost endless, only limited to the imagination and improvisational mind. I learned about this product watching Youtube bushcrafting videos. The Heroclip can be used in public bathrooms, restaurant counters & tables for instance where there is no hook for hanging a jacket, pocketbook, shopping bags, helmet, backpack, etc. The build quality, fit, finish, ergonomics & materials translate into quality for price! I will purchase many more to give as gifts to family & friends. Best regards, Barry

Amazing Hero Clip —— multi-use

We love our heroclips. They work great for keeping things off the ground while hiking, make that while resting from hiking. They’ll attach smaller bags, jackets and water bottles to larger rollers while traveling. We use them in our RV - they hang our towels from the shower curtain rod and our kitchen towels from cabinet door handles. They travel down the road without falling onto the ground so we arrive at our next destination dry and ready for use again. I’ve also used them as gifts, perfect.

For Every Place You Go...

I don't travel without one or more Heroclips! Boating/Bareboat charter - keep your waterbottle from rolling overboard; dry your towels; Cruise Ship - there are NEVER enough hooks - hang my daypack from the light fixture; en route - attach water bottle to pack strap so it can't fall out; bathroom - courtesy hook broken - you still have an off-the-nasty-floor option for your purse or pack; camping - dry your dishtowels, bathing suits or hang your Luci Lantern...seriously, these are the most awesome useful thing ever.

Love this thing

I use mine daily on my pack. It's also useful in the bathroom when there are no hooks.

totally useful when I am out hiking with my kids

I love these for when I am out with my kids and need some place to hang all our stuff. we just find a branch or a log to keep our stuff dry away from all the mud. We actually have used this when at the playground as well. We hang stuff up from the chainlink fence instead of putting stuff on the ground.
