Happy With Pump -- Added a DIY Nozzle

Only home-tested. Taking it out into the woods end of the week. So far, seems pretty good and I'm happy with the product. I made one adjustment. I was testing the pump with a Thermarest Neo Air inflatable pad and wasn't super happy with the stock nozzles. I bought a piece of 5/8" clear hose for cheap, cut 3" or so piece, heated the ends with a heat gun and used the fat end of a rachet extension to spread each end of the hose so it would fit over the Neo Air nozzle and the pump nozzle. This makes it easier to inflate and allows you to screw the pad nozzle shut while the pump is still attached and running. I make sure to shut it off fast so it's not trying to blow into a dead end. Pics below.

Great bit of gear, but beware of placement

Works well. Very small and lightweight. Perfect for backpacking! Nice bright light, and a nice touch making the storage bag multipurpose! I did have to knock off a star because there isn't any sort of safety for making sure it doesn't accidentally get turned on when packed in your gear. I found this out while practice packing, and had to quickly go digging to get to it to turn it off, as the light and airflow were both engaged. Best to place this somewhere in your gear where it can't accidentally get turned on and the battery gets depleted on trail.

Great light weight airpump

I bought a cheaper lightweight version on amazon and it was a hunk of junk. I invested in this because i trust REI products and can easily return if needed. Turns out to be a nifty well working pump!

Small, Versatile, Light, and Illuminating!

Purchased for faster inflation of air mattresses and other items, and once it's USB charged, it's great, with the multiple adapters provided. Simple to operate, with a double-click of the power switch to start inflation/deflation. Easy to remember that the light end points from the inflation port to the object! The wire bail on the deflator end is great for hanging the light overhead at night, too.
