Excellent lighting system!
Pros: Four different lighting options (small light on the base unit and then three brightness levels on the string) Easy to put up Line doesn't tangle Amazing storage system when not in use Puts out enough light to see without being obnoxiously bright Two charging methods (USB and solar) Cons: The solar charging takes awhile The base unit isn't removable from the string lights. Therefore if you need to charge the unit in direct sunlight and your tent is in the shade you have to completely remove the lights altogether and then set them back up in the evening. Overall I will definitely be using this on future trips especially since my current lights take forever to untangle.
This is the best camping solar light string I've ever used.
It works just like what it is advertised. The lights are bright enough to actually read a book or have it hanging on a canopy for that extra light without running extension cords. The built-in features are great too. I like how the built-in clips on the light string are helpful to attach to a canopy. Also it's nice that you can charge the solar light with a USB outlet. The only that I have noticed is when I charge my phone to it the solar lights get drained quickly. Overall this is a great product and I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a non-plug-in camping light.
Versatile and clever
Amazing and well made set of solar lights. Nice for mealtimes or relaxing at camp. Great for preventing tripping hazards too. I just wish they had a soft reddish glow option like how they look in their charging box!
Great camping lights
We've been using these lights for a few months now. Here are some of the things that I really like. The string is long and durable. There are 3 brightness levels plus a spotlight setting. I like that they are rechargeable either by plugging in or solar. I have another brand that needs to be plugged into a battery pack which is really inconvenient. Maybe the best part is that there is a battery level indicator so you know exactly how much life you have left in it. And the string rolls up into the unit which is nice and convenient.

These Luci String Lights are super awesome!! I havent put them to a full test but having tested them in my little windowless bathroom I am impressed. Its bright enough in here on all levels of brightness to complete any task your trying to accomplish. The flashlight is super bright for its size dont look at it when your turning these bad boys on LOL you will be seeing spots for days!! I am now eager for my southerly wandering to begin next month as since I boondock I try not to use my lights to save the battery for the furnace and fridge. These along with the other 3 new Luci lights will make my nights a lot brighter!!
Great for travel or home!
These lights are compact easy to pack and easy to use. The charging cord is integrated into the end of the string of lights so there are no missing pieces to lose. The solar charging panel works great also. Everything packs into a case about the size of my hand which makes them portable and perfect to take on camping trips and other vacations. The lights have three different intensities perfect for creating ambience or using them for working or reading on the brighter setting. An integrated clip at the end helps hold them in place when stringing them. As a bonus the rope string is my favorite color!. I highly recommend these to anyone who does a lot of traveling and car camping. They are a little heavy to carry on a long backpacking trip but would be a great splurge in the pack for a shorter trip.

I purchased these lights with great expectations for the price and they did not disappoint. I love them so much that I bought a set as a gift for a friend. He also loves them!!! Three settings and solar although I typically just USB charge. I forgot them on one night overnight and was impressed they were still going strong on bright in the morning. It's easy to find places to hang these lights when camping patio entertaining etc. These lights are bright without being annoying.
Not just for camping haha
Been thinking about purchasing this for a long while and finally pulled the trigger a few weeks back. So far mostly stringing between trees in backyard so I can lounge in a hammock.. and as I love how pleasant the lighting is I'm also using them in my bedroom as they make for the best meditation or evening calming glow on lowest setting and great for reading and all else on higher. Now my friend wants one too so Xmas planning already on. #sweepstakes
Best purchase ever!
Simply put these are exactly what I never knew I was missing. I grabbed these as a fun addition to my deck where there is no outlet and had hopes of bringing them up to a lean-to this summer. I have now done both and could not be happier. They set up and store easily provide ample light at any of the settings and last a very long time on a charge. These will be a huge help to supplement my other Luci lights in a power outage.
String Lights are my favorite LUCI product
We've purchase many LUCI products and also influenced friends to buy some. They get used primarily for backyard dinners or occasionally when we take them to a picnic or camping. The String Lights are great as they can be used decoratively and give off a large amount of light. Our favorite is to string them along the underside of our large patio umbrella. The way that the string lights fold up into it's own carry case is clever and practical. A note of caution is that we have learned that they are not as waterproof as the inflatable LUCI lights so don't leave them out all the time in heavy weather.
