camping fan keeps things cool

I bought this fan for a summer tent camping trip because I already sleep very warm and I was worried about the temps we would be sleeping in. The fan works great for keeping a little breeze on you. It has a hook to hang inside the tent and it also has a light. Buttons are small but easy to find in the dark. On low the fan is very quiet. Very happy with the purchase. Run time is several hours and each time I shut it off before the it died.

Works Great!

Bought this fan to use in our 6-man tent to create air movement for dealing with the summer heat of North Carolina and it works well! If used on low without the need for the light it will run all night long on a single charge. Just what we needed!

Great for car camping

I have used this fan on a couple camping trips and it is great. It can hang in the tent or stand alone to give a more direct breeze. I also personally found the light useful. Hold a solid charge for a night but did needed to be recharged for the second night.

Great solution for comfortable tent camping

Coghlan's nearly nailed it with this battery operated fan--it's very quiet (run on high for a little white noise), provides a great breeze for moving air around a tent, and is light without feeling cheap. I ended up hanging it inside the top of my tent and connecting it to a USB power bank via a long USB-C cable--the onboard battery is stated to last 3.5 hours but I kept it plugged in to the power bank to keep the fan on the whole weekend. The retail box/packaging is quite sturdy and worth keeping so the fan stays in new condition while in a trunk or container of camping supplies. Pros: Quiet fan, flexible settings (2 brightness, 3 fan speeds), permanent rechargeable battery, several hanging options, USB-C connection, included cord for charging, power via USB-C for continuous use. Cons: Buttons on rear of fan, no option to switch on/off by disconnecting USB-C cable.

Surprisingly awesome for many occasions

On an 8 week summer road trip this bit of kit was the surprise winner for all family members. Works fabulously in a kitchen tent to blow cooking fumes away and provide light, used in the sleeping tent at night, brought it into hotel rooms and friends’ back porches and the beach… extended family even started fighting over who got to have it in their tent at night on a group camp out… I now have a list of who’s getting one next time birthdays roll around!

Efficient and handy

Keep me and my wife cool in the warm night in Phoenix. Make some noise on the highest setting, but its mostly negligible. Requires low energy consumption from the powering station. Overall a highly recommended from a seasoned camper/backpacker
