Almost perfect, I love it
PRO: Consistently works to inflate and deflate my ThermaRest NeoAir on three-night trips, and quickly; would probably last longer but I have not tested that. Deflating is a surprisingly valuable bonus. FlexTail-branded CR123A Lithium battery 650 mAh nominal 3.7V max charge 4.2v, has its own USB-C charging port, and is available on amazon. 1.2 oz! CON (minor): the fine aluminum-alloy threads that screw the cap on/off to release the battery, appear susceptible to cross-threading or damage from grit. The on-off switch sometimes requires mutiple pushes (seems to like double-click), and sometimes sticks in the "in" position; it is supposed to always pop back out, but someimes requires some diddling around to release it. This model only available in black (newer models available in orange) making it hard to find sometimes; I added an orange marking tape and linked the silicon(?) adapter to the supplied lanyard to make it harder to lose. It was not obvious that I can slip the silicon-ish adapter over either end to reverse flow, and that it fits over the lanyard connector without materially affecting pressure/suction.
Excellent gear
I was honestly surprised by how powerful this little pump is. It’s super compact and lightweight, but still inflates and deflates gear really fast. The magnetic design is a smart touch — very handy when camping or using it around the car. It’s not a flashy gadget, but it works reliably every time, and that’s what matters.
Works well
It does exactly what it’s supposed to. The fan is quite small which means it’s pretty loud, so you don’t want to use it at midnight in a crowded site, but it’s quick to inflate. The adapters are ok, I don’t really like that they slip on over the drawstring but they work well enough. You need to unscrew the battery to recharge it
Not worth it.
Product switch doesn't properly work. I never know how many times to push the on off button. Varies from 2 to 8 or more. Shutting it off work with one push (usually). In addition, you will still have to give your pad a few breaths to get it up to a firm level. Worst thing is that you will have to buy a battery charger as it does not come with one. If you want to spend $48.00 for a pump that will fill up your air mattress 5 times max per battery and no way to charge it without a separate purchase - go for it. Batteries are not cheap either to just throw them away not to mention the enviromental impact of that. When I originally purchased and contacted the factory about the faulty switch and asked for a return, they wanted me to take a video to prove it. Don't waste your money.
Winner for me
I'm a big fan. Haha. Works well, comes in at 2.1 oz with strap, battery, and thermarest nozzle. Took me just under 60 seconds to inflate regular size neoair and at 60 db from a few feet away. No problem with on\off. Pleased.
