Coghlan's  Inside/Outside Tent Mat

I've used this several times on supported bike tours. It gets placed in my tent duffel and is just enough in the battle to keep the tent interior clean.

You never knew you needed this doormat until that long trip, that rainy week, that campsite on the beach where living in a clean tent made all the difference in your enjoyment of the backcountry. Allows you to towel off or dress in bare feet. I also use these beneath my hammock so I can slide on and off in bare feet. Dries in a jiffy. I never trip out without this anymore. Every year I’ve forgotten to buy and bring along a welcome dirt mat to keep crud from walking into the tent. I remembered this year, and bought this. It’s smallish. It’s flexible. Like, really, really flexible. When it lies flat, stays where its put, it works great. For the next couple of trips (Bryce Canyon then San Diego) I went to another retailer and bought indoor/outdoor larger mats that’ll stay put and give a bigger area to wipe shoes on.

This mat did help with catching debris and facilitating cleanliness of the tent in wet, muddy, NC weather. However, the backing on the mat began deteriorating and coming off on the 1st use of a 2 day trip.

The mat works exactly as expected. I use it as part of my skiing "parking lot locker room." It gives me a dry, snow free place to put my feet while booting up in the parking lot.

Not much $$$ but good to have for clean feet on tent entry. We have one for each side. They roll up well to pack. Love them.

I bought this tent mat because it always rains when I go camping. I keep it under the rain fly at the entrance to the tent. The mat keeps my shoes from getting wet & dirty and my tent stays clean because I don’t have to bring my shoes into it. The mat rolls up easily and unrolls flat. High quality.

This mat rolls up tightly, is thin but durable. It does a good job grabbing things off of your shoes/feet and is easy to shake clean. I end up rolling this around my tent pole bag and hang it on the bottom of my pack.

This is the second rug I have bought. I use it by the door of my camper. It does and excellent job of trapping dirt, is lightweight and shakes out with ease.

Very useful mat and hope it remains available for purchase. I use it in home in front of bedrooms and other rooms to keep out debris and it helps keep floors cleaner.
