This pack let me down big time on a multi day trek in the White Mountains. The way the pack narrows at the bottom makes it very hard to pack and always seems to be lopsided. Packed and re-packed and still could not get it to sit straight. On day one, one of the snap connections completely broke. Hip packs are narrow and really not useful at all. My other two co-hikers carried Ospreys with no issue. Only plus is it did get wet, and dried quickly. Go with another brand or model
