Decked out with intuitive features, the men's REI Co-op Trailmade 60 pack prioritizes organization to simplify your backpacking adventures. Its adjustable back panel fits a range of torso lengths.
- Updates from previous version include a U-zipper for easy internal access and a front-panel cinch-cord pocket with mesh side panels for quickly stashing extra layers
- Offered in 2 size widths to select the best fit for you; both sizes adjust to fit torso lengths of 17 to 21 in.
- Adjustable torso makes it easy for people of different sizes to share the pack—or to hand it down
- Padded back panel, shoulder straps and contoured hipbelt provide a comfortable carry (up to 35 lbs.)
- Durable water repellent (DWR) finish made without PFAS helps moisture bead up on the surface
- Roomy top-loading main compartment, separate sleeping bag compartment, and 6 exterior pockets—including an attached top lid—offer user-friendly organization
- U-zipper on the front panel provides easy internal access
- Sleeping bag compartment can be accessed via the U-zipper; an internal divider keeps it separate or can be collapsed to create a larger main compartment
- External compression keeps your load tight and balanced for easy carry
- Front-reach water bottle pockets are easily accessed with the pack on to help you stay hydrated on the trail
- Dedicated hydration sleeve in interior to hold your reservoir (reservoir not included)
- Top lid pocket provides easy access and storage for frequently accessed gear

I used this backpack on a morning hike at a nearby state park. It was spacious with more than enough room for our supplies including some snacks, water bottles, sweatshirts, and a blanket. The hardware was solid and easy to adjust. The straps were comfortable, though I did not fill the pack so it wasn’t too heavy. I am excited to try it out on longer hikes with more gear. I am 6’3” and 220lbs.

This may be one of the cheaper pack options at REI however this thing is a simple beast, none of the fancy or gimmicky ultra- "whatever" it's a rugged yet adjustable frame and a huge bag attached to it with straps on the bottom and sides that allow you to really get your load tight and fixed. It also features a few accessory loops for your ice axes, shovels, ropes, or sleeping pad. I couldn't be happier not spending 3X what tis pack comes in at for the same performance and reliability

I was given this backpack for free in exchange for my honest review of the product. This backpack is very well made. The material is strong and would endure the outside elements. The pack has a strong support and pockets on the hip belt. A person could carry a lot in this backpack without straining their back.

I was happily surprised how roomy this pack was. From metro trails with the family and dog to longer trips to Northern MN. The 60L capacity is the sweet spot — plenty of room for layers, snacks, and all the gear that migrates from the kids' packs into yours. Hip belt and shoulder straps stay comfortable all day, and the pockets are easy to access when you're wrangling a leashed dog on a busy trail. Versatile enough for a casual nature walk or a backcountry trip. It handled well in mixed weather conditions.
