These are nice pants and very comfortable and functional but pricey.I think the pictures of the cuffs could be improved to better show how the are in the normal state without tightening them. I did not buy them the first time because they looked like they were tight at the ankles with elastic which I do not like. These are actually very functional and are not tight unless you use the option of the snap and wrap them firmly around your ankles. The material is comfortable and somewhat wind resistant. However anything oily will discolor them and does not go to the natural color after washing. I have had this problem with lots of synthetic materials.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in love with the two pairs I bought! The pair in Hawkeye has a nice rich khaki brown that seems to go well with everything! The green pair was what initially caught my eye, but in person the color is a tad more muted than what is shown on the website - close enough though. As for fit, they are looser than the slim straight pants I usually wear, which is what I want in cargo pants. I don't consider them baggy. The pants have a nice weight to them and drape well while still being very comfy. The 30" inseam is accurate and fall nicely around my ankles, which allows me to cinch them for when Im wearing lowtop sneakers.Overall I am happy with the two pairs I bought and am considering getting another pair in charcoal grey.
Front zippered pockets are worthless. One they are at an angle which makes so they MUST be zippered or their is a risk of anything, especially a phone, fall out. Also they are too low and towards the front so heavy items bounce off your thoughts while walking. My other concern is they are not fast drying. They look great but I returned mine for the above reasons.
These pants are 90% the perfect pant. Out of the bag they fit exactly how I wanted them to. Not too tight, but just slim enough to be flattering. Too tight would make all the utility pockets useless. My only gripe is that they did bag out. Initially they hugged my waist to where I did not need a belt, but after a full day of wear I am constantly pulling them up. Also, DUER's inseam measurements seem to run long. My 30 length DUERs hit where my 32 Lulu Lemons do. If these retained shape like the denim and maybe came in more jogger appropriate length like 29" I would only buy this pant.
These are almost the greatest pants I have ever owned. I have several pairs in various colors, and they fit and look great. They also have brilliantly placed (and nice looking) cargo pockets that are easy to access even if you are seated in a car with a seat belt. But there are a few cons: 1. On some (but not all) of the pairs that I own, the cuff snaps simply will not stay snapped. They pop open all the time. On other pairs, this is not an issue at all, so it seems that there is a quality control issue. 2. These pants pick up stains very easily. The stains do come out after a washing or sometimes two, but you no sooner get one stain out before you have some more. This is not an issue for me with any other pants that I own. 3. I wish the back pockets were a little deeper. This is obviously a minor point, but one that keeps me from using the back pockets as much as I would like. Despite the cons, these are a favorite pair of pants for me.
Bought these in May for general use, mostly outdoor work/play. They are probably the most comfortable pants I’ve ever owned. Doing some out door work yesterday involving, sitting on the ground and rough surfaces much of the day, the seat of the pants tore open. There’s a 4”-6” long tear, weak material? Not rugged or durable at all.
Great fit, using for work at a winery. This is my fourth pair of Du/Er pants and I have absolutely loved every one. I'm 5'6 160lbs with wide hips, transmasc/non-binary, and i love the tapered look and the way my butt looks in them. they are relaxed but not bulky, the extra pockets are super helpful. I wear a 33/30. Definitely recommend to my other queer transmen out there looking for good adventure pants or work pants!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a great pant! So soft and they are quite sturdy and strong for hiking and outdoors adventures. Super soft and comfy! Love them!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these pants! I do think they could be better with some tweaks, first, as adventure pants, they should have a higher rise that sits at your natural waist rather than below your waist. That is really what's holding these back, if I were climbing or hiking or doing something physical, they need more rise. As-is they are great for lounging, commuting by plane or car ( not biking: needs more rise) or just hanging out. Second, I wish the back pockets had buttons or zippers, they get kinda slouchy which could be easily fixed with a closure of some sort.
i feel so free and alive in these pants. but really i can do yoga, cycle, climb, work and chill in these pants plus more i bet. i feel like i use to dream about tapered stretchy pants with button cuffs. my dream finally came true when i discovered Duer at a local board shop in Colorado. these are lifestyle pants and im on my way to having each color. i usually am a 34x34 but the 32 length is fine and in found that i like the waist and tightness in the thighs better ordering a 33 waist. worth every penny
