[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pants are the relaxed cousin of the stretch Zion OGs and 2s. I often wear baggier pants so coming from the OG stretch zions I was keen to try these out. I will say, they are quite relaxed. I ordered my normal Jean size (30x32), and they run a bit large on me for sure. But, I don’t mind too much I just cuff them when I climb anyways. Overall the pants are excellent. They are comfortable, stretch a lot, breathe quite a bit, lots of pockets, and seem quite durable. I took them out climbing a few times and they still look new after sessions plus washes. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Freaking love these pants! I've taken them climbing indoors as well as outdoors several times. I've also taken them through a technical canyon all in just a few weeks of having owned them. The pants are loose enough and have enough flex that they do NOT inhibit movement at all when doing physically strenuous activities like rock climbing, canyoneering, scrambling, bouldering, hiking, etc... They have been durable enough in the outdoors that I foresee them lasting a very long time. The little snap at the bottom of the pant legs is nice--I snap it when I go climbing to keep the pant leg openings small enough so they don't catch on the shoes. Of the several climbs I did today, one had a chimney and another had a tight crack to climb through--rubbing the pants against rock as I was squeezing/climbing up. Pants held up great and show no signs of holes!!! Size-wise, normally I order my Prana pants with a 33 waist because it gives me a little more breathing room for movement. I got this pair with a 32 waist and I feel that because the fit overall is so loose, the 32 waist fits me a bit better. There is much more space around the crotch and seat for the dynamic movements with this looser style fit. Love the baggy fit. Pants seem to breath fine and don't feel too hot, even when the Utah sun is shining down. If you wear a borderline size, I’d probably go down a size, but not up. I also like the new super wide belt loops but not gonna lie, I miss having the quick waist cinch strap that I have on my other Zion Stretch pants. Prana has included a low profile nylon (I think) cinching belt that looks like a strap from a backpack, but I'd rather have the cinching strap from the other pants they make (nice for beltless wear when using a harness). They have also replaced the plastic button with a metal snap--and I really like that feature. The pockets are large, and the lower pockets on the leg work well for when you have a harness on. All in all, I love these pants and will be buying a couple more pairs of them for the upcoming autumn climbing season. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Right out of the packaging, these pants are SUPER comfortable. They feel like sweatpants, with the durability and practicality of cargo pants. I love the way they look: a relatively baggy fit, lots of room for movement, and quite breathable. I typically wear a 33x33 in pants, but I can never find a 33 inseam, so I often go with a 34. I got these in a 33x34, and they are big all around except for the butt. (Waist and leg feel a bit longer than other 33x34 pants, but I would not want to downsize) They come with a practical buckle belt, and it works great. I think you could also use this belt for other things like bundling sleeping bags, strapping items together, etc. I roll the bottoms of the pants up to fit my legs better with no issue, and I do not think it impacts how they look. My only complaint about the pants is they are slim in the booty, which can be a bit uncomfortable at times. All said, these pants rock. I have worn them casually in town, on the dirt jumps, hiking, trail building, and a lot more. This was my first piece of prAna gear, and I am super keen to try more!

The fit was nearly perfect for me — comfortable through the waist and legs without feeling baggy, with plenty of room for movement. I’ve put these pants through a much wider range of use than I originally expected: hiking, running and playing with my kids, gardening, property chores, livestock work, and general outdoor wear. The biggest test came during a nearly 100-degree day while helping build an addition onto a home over 100 years old. I spent the day framing, climbing, kneeling, carrying materials, working on asphalt shingles, and tying the new roof into the existing structure. What impressed me most was the combination of comfort, breathability, and freedom of movement. Even after hours in extreme heat, they never felt excessively heavy or restrictive. The stretch worked very well while climbing and working in awkward positions, and they stayed comfortable throughout the day. Durability has also been impressive considering what I’ve subjected them to. After the roofing and construction work, I did notice a few small areas around the ankles where the stitching is beginning to show some wear. Given the amount of abrasion against shingles and rough materials, I don’t consider that a major failure, but it is something I’ll continue to watch. Overall, the versatility is probably what I like most. I can hike in them, work around the property, play with my kids, garden, work around livestock, and then put them through a legitimately demanding construction day without feeling like I need a different pair of pants. The cargo pockets were a surprise for me with the zip access on the sides of the pocket, which made accessing a phone or anything in be pockets quite easy while seated or in a harness. The belt is also a great feature. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had these pants out hiking, climbing, and biking, and Im a big fan! The material is lightweight and stretchy, but doesn’t feel fragile/ weak. I’ve taken them on several hikes where I was sliding and scrambling over pretty abrasive rock, and they still don’t show any noticeable signs of damage. The cargo pockets are great for climbing because they’re easy to access while wearing a harness. The side zippers are cool when sitting or hanging in a harness since I don’t have to worry about things falling out of my pockets. I’m 6’0” and normally wear a 32, and the size 32 in these is a little bigger and baggier than my usual pants. I actually like the extra room for climbing and hiking, and the buttons at the ankles are a nice feature for tapering the legs for better style. I also own the Stretch Zion 2 Slim pants, and compared to those, these feel a little more durable and have a much more straight legged and baggy fit. Great balance of weight, stretch, comfort, and durability!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the Prana stretch Zion cargo relaxed pants for hiking and camping over the past few weeks and absolutely love them. I am 5' 11" and tested a 35 x 32 which I'm so glad is made because I normally need to bounce between a 34 and 36. The 35 worked out perfectly. Not too tight and not too loose. I used these pants for casual wear, hiking, and back country camping. Trails were technical at times with rock scrambles, brush, and overgrown sections. The stretch Zion cargo relaxed pants kept my legs protected from everything I didn't want and also allowed for the freedom of movement I needed in order to maneuver across technical terrain. The pants breathed well and I didn't feel overly hot in them. They also dried quickly when they did get wet. One of my favorite features of the pants is the built in belt. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve worn Prana Zion pants for years, primarily for rock climbing and backpacking. The pairs I currently own are older models, dating back to around 2017, so I was interested to see how the newer version compared. This pair features the relaxed cut, and unfortunately, I’m not a fan of the fit. They are considerably baggier than I prefer. My older pairs appear to be the slim cut, which I find much more comfortable and functional. For reference, I’m 6'1" and 205 lbs. The 34" waist fits me perfectly, but the 34" inseam seems noticeably longer than other pants I own with the same listed length. **Pros:** * Extremely lightweight and comfortable * Well-designed pocket layout * Ankle snaps allow you to adjust the leg opening **Cons:** * Very baggy fit * Belt loops are too narrow for most of my belts * Belt loops are too wide to conveniently clip my keys onto Overall, these are still a great option for outdoor activities if you’re looking for a lightweight, comfortable, and versatile pant. If you prefer a more fitted silhouette, I would recommend trying the slim or standard cut instead of the relaxed fit.

The outfit was AMAZING. The quality is just something you can’t get over and it’s a great everyday, elevated basic. It was gifted by prana and will be a gift that will be used OFTEN.
