I needed something very warm for the winter in Vermont. I’ve been buying Cotopaxi stuff for a while now, but this overall takes the cake. It’s very comfy and warm. I got a lot of compliments the day I wore it out.
Love the brand but product was defective upon delivery. A seam over the left pocket was not completely sewn leaving a big hole. Have to return it
These are warm & comfy. Fit runs a bit large…though I purchased mens product (I’m female) because I wanted the bibs (& the female comparable product didn’t come in the style). The colors are nice & they compliment my jacket nicely. The lowest I’ve worn them is zero degrees & they were plenty warm, even in the wind. The material blocks the wind nicely. I worried I might get cold because I only had sweatpants on underneath (no additional base layers or anything), but I was warm all day with no issues. Con: the only thing I found odd about them is the side placement of the zipper. (Again, perhaps that’s how men’s cuts come, & I’m just not accustomed to that.) I’d have preferred the zipper to be down the center—seems like that would make these easier to get on/off. Overall though, I do like these bibs & hope to get years of use out of them.
I found these on a sale in the used repurpose section of REI recently and had been keeping my eye on them online. I lucked out! I’m a woman, five ft six, 155 pounds and built kind of straight I bought the men’s medium and they fit perfectly The legs and your belly Stay particularly warm. I really like being able to wear them over a fleece or a smart wheelbase layer and just feel warm. Of course, the question with these overalls is about the difficulty of getting them on and off when you’re on your hike and nature calls. I have found that if you zip down the left zipper almost all the way, you can pull the overalls aside and everything works well. You do not need to take the straps off over your head, which was a relief because that’s just a pain when you’re all geared up in the woods. That said, go to Pass. He needs to get with it and put snaps or claps on the straps. For Cotopaxi this just seems like a design flaw.
My wife showed me these that she wanted to get for herself for our walks. I said “Do they come in mens??” Lo and behold! I really like these. Comfy like a lightweight down jacket yet ALL THE WAY to your ankles! What’s not to love? I ordered an XL. I’m usually an XL and these fit well with room to move and layer underneath if needed.
Haven't tried it on in the real world yet. Just got in on sale and winter is over, so will be saving it for next winter. Tried it on for style and fit indoors and it's a very comfortable fit. Fits me perfectly. Leg openings are just wide enough to go over my ski boots. Looking forward to wearing it on the slopes next winter.
The fit, feel, and style are all great. Absolutely no complaints. I am just struggling to come up with a use case. Best I can think is that this will be a luxury item when winter camping. I imagine wearing it in the sleeping back as an additional layer so the middle of the night tree search is a bit more comfortable.
Fit and finish is Cotopaxi standard. Super comfy and warm. Though more colors would be awesome. Only gripe is the small zipper for the chest pocket which is difficult for those who may be disabled or have tactile issues as the zipper is tiny and not easy to pull open one handed. Overall happy and would recommend
My wife and I got these. We each got our regular size. Hers was waaaayyy too big. It’s a size small but fits like an XL. I got my usual size of medium and it fits fine. Cotopaxi’s sizing is extremely unreliable
Not only are these warm as all get out, but they look amazing! They accentuate all the right parts and people know that I am down to party when I rock these bad boys! Un Fuego indeed!
