Rated 5 out of 5 by from REI Backpacker Multiday First Aid Kit A friend and I had to use this kit in an emergency situation at Cochise's Stronghold in Sunsites, AZ. I fell down off a 10 ft rock face and lacerated my knee. He used this kit in order to apply a pressure dressing to my knee. We then had to hike 1.5 miles to safety. This kit kept my skin in tact for the Emergency room doctor to safely stitch up my knee. The RN told us that we were very smart for bringing this kit on our hike. I fully endorse and recommend this product to any hiker that does day trips and or weekend long. This kit was perfect! Thank you REI!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Kit & Well Organized I purchased this kit and the one for a group of 6. This is a nice little kit and well organized. I would use this for a group of 2-3 persons. For a group of 4-6, I prefer the slightly larger kit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Small, compact, handy! It's size makes it perfect for packing light! It holds way more items than you'd think just by looking at it. The first trip I brought it along on, I used it to mend a few cuts and muscle tweaks. But it also has supplies for more serious breaks and gashes!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everything you need Bought this for our family trip to Alaska, didn't expect to use it, but our friend that joined us cut himself with his pocket knife. Band-aid to the rescue.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The essentials in a light and compact pack Great, compact, first aid kit. It has most all of the basics+ you'd need and is easy to navigate with how the pack is laid out.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great first aid but.. Bought this kit for backpacking trips. However the tweezer in the kit, penetrated the red case and I now have a hole in my first aid kit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nurse approval My wife is a nurse and recommended this kit. It seems to cover everything that a typical camping type medical situation would need

Need the quantity of each item in the multiday first aid kit (4 people, 5 days).  It is not on the back of kit - older model.

Asked by: andyclarksphr
The items/quantities can vary slightly due to availability from the manufacturers to our vendor. We do not have a definite list.

Basic question, does this first aid kit have anything to safely remove ticks? Not sure the tweezers provided are up to the job.

Asked by: PaHIker
There is not a tick remover included in this first aid kit; tick keys are available for purchase separately which then can be added to this kit.

Looking for a latex free kit.  The only info I can find on all of the kits on your website is that the gloves are listed as latex free.  What about the bandaids, etc?

Asked by: Love Oregon
The Backpacker Multiday First-Aid Kit is natural rubber latex free.
