Bought these pants for a weekend backpacking trip on the AT--they felt great. I carry my weight in my legs, so I bought a size 10 to give my thighs room, but it was slightly looser on my waist. No worries though because there's a drawstring. They are light and felt great on the skin--we ended up trekking through 4 hours of downpour and they did not dry quickly once it quit. Not a bad thing, just FYI. Overall, love these pants and they were worth the high price tag (coming from a broke college student).
I have these pants in two colors, I was so excited bc they looked so great and professional for a work trip. I had to buy two sizes down so beware of sizing bc they do stretch!!!They were great for a day wandering around town at home and then I took them on a trip. I wore them from sun up to down one day and they were sagging half way through the day. I kept having to pull them up. For reference I’m 5’6 and around 145lbs. I usually wear a 4/6 at Athleta, these I bought in a 2 and they were still sagging after a half day. If you like pulling up your pants all day, these are for you! Lol
Very comfy and I love the material. It seems like the pants are well-made and will hold up well when camping and hiking. The wide waist band is comfortable and I like that there's an elastic string you can also tighten as well, if needed. I love the shiny metallic zipper detail. Lots of good pockets. I love that the pant leg can be bunched up a bit at the bottom to make it a shorter/capri look. These run large. I normally wear a 4 or 6 and I wear a 2 in these and could almost do a size 0, but I want them to be comfy and not too snug. I am 5'0 and weigh 115 and the petite 2s work great.
They are BARELY tapered at the ankles. They dont have a drawstring. They have one of those interior loops that does jack squat to tighten the pants. They just look like baggy straight pants if you're not on the meatier side. They're comfortable, but the material feels thin like it wont last long. I bought these on sale for $50 which still seems high given the noisy, crinkly, thin material they are made of. I give them 2 stars instead of 1 because at least they have two back pockets (albeit small ones, cant fully fit my galaxy s10e) so they could pass as acceptable office attire if you have a stuffy job that judges people's "professionalism" by their attire as mine unfortunately does. These dont seem durable enough to be outdoorsy pants. I'm 120 lbs and 5'6", I ordered the size 0 in tall and they are still slightly too big and too short. My inseam is barely 31" and these seem an inch too short. How is 30" a tall inseam??
Truly I have never been so in love with pants before! So so comfortable. High rise with wide stretchy waistband that moves with my body. Fabric is lovely, cool enough for summer, fall, and spring. I had to order another pair! If it came in tan or taupe I would order 3.
These are not the most flattering pants imaginable. I'm 5'5" with a large belly, and the hem hits about mid-anklebone. The waist is REALLY large. I love that the pants don't have a zipper/fly, and the waistband is soft and comfy, but the drawcord to cinch it in is pretty useless. Nice zippered pockets. The fabric is a little weird (as another buyer said, like crepe paper) but the stretchiness increases comfort when active. The fabric is light and cool while providing good protection against sun and bugs.
I have these in black and love them for traveling. They can be hand washed and hung to dry overnight. The zipper pockets are deep and can fit my cell phone while the back pockets are accessible. The tapered legs are flattering and the half cuff bottoms give a slightly tailored look. The stretch fabric is comfortable is non binding while not being flimsy. Unfortunately, the color of this latest order is difficult to pair; it is neither a true blue nor a gray and will be returned. Perhaps, navy and gray can be added options in the future.
Comfort wise, these are a step up from the old version of the Trekkie north joggers. The pockets are so much better and more useful. The waistband sits a bit higher and keeps your belly compressed, it doesn’t slip down like the previous version. I think the material may be a little thinner, but I don’t know yet if that will make them less durable. If you like a more form fitting jogger, size down. I wear a 8p in the old version and a 6p in this version. The 6p is almost exactly equivalent to the 8p. All in all, definitely and upgrade from the old version imo at least fit and comfort wise. We shall see about durability over the next few months.
I bought these because my other black joggers are a magnet for dog hair and I was hoping the fabric of these would be easy to brush off dog hair. They are GREAT for this reason- attention dog owners! I have now worn them to work in a professional office, for date night, gardening, sailing, and hiking. They are surprisingly warm and wind resistant, too. Dirt brushes off easily and they don’t get funky like yoga pants do. New favorites!
Good travel pant. Zippered pockets, hidden pockets, comfy on a plane ride. I wore them frequently during my trip without needing to wash them. I wish they had a drawstring tie waist like the version before these but i made do with a cord toggle and the little string i found inside the waist band. Maybe not the most stylish but they look pretty good paired with a Chelsea boot.
