I was excited for these pants, but they completely exceeded my expectations. I took these on a peak-bagging adventure to New England in late October, so it was starting to get colder, and we ran into snow and rain a few times. These were exceptional. On Mount Mansfield, VT, I started with these and a light base layer but quickly shed the base layer even though it was in the 40s. We got snowed/rained/sleeted on, and the water repellent was great, but naturally could only do so much in a downpour. Eventually the pants were soaked, BUT they never felt soggy or clung to my legs like some would. And when the precipitation stopped, I was shocked that they were bone-dry in under an hour. First experience with them: 5 stars. Later that trip we climbed Mount Washington, NH, which is notorious for inclement weather. I started with a light base layer under these, and that's all I used the whole climb. Granted, the weather was pretty mild by Mount Washington standards (we had a nice day with only a little snow and ~15–20 mph winds and temps in the 30s on top), but I was comfortable in the changing conditions and never needed an extra warmth layer or hard-shell pants. Another 5 stars. I also hiked a smaller peak with nice fall weather and never got too hot. Honestly, I'm getting a couple more pairs because they are also super comfy running around town or chilling at home. I want to live in these now. All the stars!
I love these pants so much that I finally had to buy a second pair in a different color. Problem is that I don’t think it’s offered in “short” anymore. I’m 5’5” and these are ridiculously long.
I bought these a month ago and I love these. I wear a XXL and they are loss fitting and feel great!
These pants are great. Very comfortable, stay put, breathe well and held up to over a year of frequent use so far.
These pants are comfortable and lightweight. I don’t love wearing shorts and these are perfect for warmer weather. I usually wear a size 8 and the medium fit, but I went for the large for a more relaxed fit. There are adjustable elastic strings at the ankles of the pants so length isn’t a problem
the way the material is gathered is extremely uncomfortable my old one s just have the draw string these pants fit but the top is horrible
