Cotopaxi  Losdos Zip-Off Pants - Women's

I am 165 cm tall with a 65-68 cm waist, and not particularly wide hips. I ordered an XS and S because I was uncertain about the size and I loved both. The XS sits like it does on the model in the photo (very much high waisted). The S is a mid waist on me. The XS also looks much leaner through the leg, I guess since it sits ln a different part of the waist, whereas the S feels more baggy, although both are not proper slim by any means. I would say the sizing chart was pretty accurate so if we count that as a size reference, I’d say it’s true to size.

I confess. I bought 3 pairs in different colors because 1. ) I love the colors, 2. ) I love the fit, 3. ) I wanted to mix up the colors even more by swapping one leg from each pair for that full Cotopaxi mix effect! They fit my curvy figure and are just plain fun to wear. Great clothes to play in and play with!

I own these in light blue and emerald green, and they have quickly surpassed usage of my rei zipoffs because 1) the short is nicely high waisted and a cute length 2) I was pleasantly surprised that though the pant leg doesn't zip vertically, I can get these to fit over my trail runners and (with some difficulty and sitting) chunky mountaineering boots. I find myself reaching for them often just as shorts. And they work well as a travel pant, I wore them on a trip to cape town and they were great for the changing weather. Have gotten many compliments on them. The few downsides - there is no adjustable tie or elastic on the inside, so while the XS sit around my belly button normally, they fall a few inches even if I just have my phone in a pocket and the pant legs on the carabiner. The pale blue definitely hold onto dirt after washing - after one dusty rock scramble they were more beige than blue and after two they're more tan. There are no zippered pockets and they are somewhat shallow at an angle, so while they work well for hiking, I tried to use them rock climbing and my phone fell out of the pocket. The cargo pockets are cute but putting anything clunky in them like a phone hits your knee awkwardly. Finally - the elastic has almost worn through where the legs attach to the carabiner, after <5 uses where I've walked a lot with the pant legs attached.

These pants fit perfectly both width and length for me. I am 125 lbs and 5’4 and the cut perfect height with my sneakers. The thigh zippers feel a bit snug while walking but i am hoping that they loosen a bit with wear. Additionally the hidden zippers are two different colors to help indicate which one is left and which is right. While the black zipper is easier to hide, you really have to make sure you have the left side rolled down properly since the bright white zipper appears at the bottom of the short if not tucked in properly. Functionality wise they’re perfect but i wish they chose a darker color for the left leg since white is so extremely obvious.

I very much so liked these pants but ended up returning them because they weren’t light weight enough for me. If I was wearing pants for hiking, these would be the ones. They are well made and have pockets in all the right places. The zip offs are further up, making cute shorts. They fit and look good. I hike in a skirt and was looking for back up/camp pants and they just weren’t as light as I wanted for my pack. I would also think twice about the fact that there is no belt loops or drawstring if I was thru-hiking where weight loss is an issue. Otherwise, these are great pants.

Love these pants! They’re very flattering, a great material, and the pockets are deep. I have thicker thighs and these are the best zip off pants that I have found. My only complaint is that I wish there were belt loops. I took these backpacking last weekend and had issues with the pants slipping down a bit. Not the biggest deal but slightly annoying. If Cotopaxi releases another version with belt loops and perhaps a zippered pocket, I would definitely buy them (also would love to see more monochrome pants in fun colors). I would still recommend despite the lack of belt loops and I’ve found that folding the waistband over helps and bit and makes them more mid rise.

These are some of the more stylish convertible pants out there, so I was excited to purchase them for backpacking and climbing. The pants' durability is quite poor considering the price tag and reputation of the brand. The pants ripped on the first multi-day backpacking trip I took them on. I'm not a gentle person by any means, but I expected more. I also had some chafing issues which has never been an issue for me. Overall, the pants would probably do you well for chill activities and hikes, but I would not trust them on more extreme adventures.

Comfortable and breathable. Slightly too baggy in the leg area than I'm used to but I do like these! I also sat in sap on my first use of them so I'm sad about it. The brown color is more of a darker khaki color, not really brown. 5'7, 150 lbs and got the medium.

These pants are great! Whether you are walking through a beautiful park on a hot, sunny day or you are hiking, these pants definitely serve! If you are too hot, just unzip the pant legs. No need to worry about losing them b/c they fold into a bag you can clip onto your waste. Who created this lovely convenience??? Kudos! If the evening falls and mosquitos express their gratitude for your easily accessible blood, quickly zip the pants into place. Cotopaxi to the rescue! Thanks for the creative quality assurance! My ONE request. . . . More colors please! They were QUICKLY sold out!
