I had two of these recliners and in just a year or two some clips came unstitched from the fabric and others broke. Unless they have drastically improved, they are terrible. There are no grommets so you can’t reattach the fabric with elastic, like the older model (and some other brands). Even if the clips last five years, when they break or come unstitched, the whole chair goes to landfill unless you were to add grommets for elastic.
Quality powder-coated steel construction. Webbing is clipped to the chair, not laced. Extremely well-made in France. It is sturdy and comfortable. I would not consider it lightweight, but I intend to use it at home and it is perfect for that purpose. It's very comfortable, too. I actually exclaimed, "Ahhhhhhhhh!" out loud the first time I sat in it!
We really like the comfort of these zero gravity chairs by Lafuma. This one is too small for me, at 6’3” the foot rest hits just above my heel, but it’s the right size for my wife who is shorter. It replaced another Lafuma where the plastic connectors for the fabric to the frame came unstitched. Hope this one lasts a bit longer.
Seemed really pretty great. Functioned well, nicely put together and finish was on point. Despite feeling pretty big, it didn’t seem big enough. But at 6’ tall, my head could feel the metal across the top and my feet hung over the end just enough the rode the metal bar at the bottom. Not as relaxing as I had hoped.
Really comfortable chairs, light enough to take to the beach while also durable enough for patio furniture. They’ve solved a lot of back issues for me, and they’re (too) easy to fall asleep in…. One of the best things is that you can buy replacement parts if needed. If you’re above 6’ I might consider buying the XL version, but at 6’4” the regular chairs are still comfortable
