Durable and compact!

I've had yeti's trailhead chair for the longest time and it's an excellent chair but my biggest gripe is its size. This field chair gives answers my call for a more portable version! You lose the arm rests and the similar design, durability, and quick deploy is all there but in a smaller package!

Great Chair

This is really a great chair, but no cup holder despite advertising showing photos, and no obvious messaging stating the fact. I can't easily find where to buy them, now I am digging.

Not Just Another Trailhead

This chair is a welcome addition to the lineup, it weighs about 5lbs less than the Trailhead, and is a much quicker setup as there are no locking parts. The nylon material sits very different than the Trailhead chairs do. It doesn't stretch down, and gives a firmer support when you sit. The material also makes it easy to slide yourself a little bit to find the sweet spot of comfort, or even to recline yourself with ease. It's incredibly sturdy and it is absolutely a comfortable sit. The lack of arm rests isn't that big of a deal in regards to comfort, it actually allows you to sit in ways that arm rests would not allow. It's a great simple design I wish it came with at least one cup holder, becasue you're going to want one (or two) so plan on that extra expense. It's build to last, and its built for comfort. You'll be happy you got it

Exceptional Chair! Built to last with YETI quality

I just purchased two of these chairs and so glad I did! They scream YETI quality and a cheap price to pay when it comes to piece of mind. You'll never have to worry about this chair breaking or needing repairs...with normal wear and tear. I also have two Camp Chairs that I absolutely LOVE and these are a lighter carry because they don't have the arm rests. Who needs arm rest anyway? Simply wonderful!!!

Sturdy and durable while compact and light weight!

This is the folding chair that made me want to carry a folding chair. I tend to carry very small stools for convenience but this chair is compact and light enough that it was worth the upgrade. It is probably overpriced for what it is but if anything ever happens to it and the warranty covers it then that will make it worth it. The chair is comfortable even without arms but a cup holder should have been included. For someone that never wanted to carry a folding chair around, I have no regrets about this about buying this one and would recommend it for sure. Side note, the carry bag is very durable but it’s not as ‘form-fitting’ as the pictures make it look. While I do wish it was a tighter fit around the chair, I was able to fit a water bottle and a couple other small things in the bag with the chair so that was a nice bonus. I’m 5’ 11” and a little over 200lbs and the chair feels solid when I’m sitting on it.

Best one yet

This is such a great chair! Bought two. Yeah I can understand having no armrest can be a bit of a game changer but it’s really not necessary IMO. It feels so good sitting in it and it’s so lightweight. Putting the chair back into the sack is hassle free too which I love. Going to soccer games and practices will be more enjoyable.

Awesome Chair

This chair is a major improvement in my opinion. The fabric is comfortable yet still breathes really well. I like that the arm rests are gone. I am a bigger guy and feel like I have more room. There is a spot for a cup holder that can be added. The chair is super sturdy and can easily hold well over 300lbs (verified).

Finally, I've found a camp chair that works for me

I have a 21 foot camper van. There is not a lot of room for extras...such as a comfy camp chair. I have tried hard to find a chair that's comfortable but also very portable. I have spent a small fortune in the process. They wereeither too low to the ground for me to get up from without doing gymnastics to involving a multi-step process of assembling if it was actually the right height of about 17 inches. No big deal, but it wouldn't fit back in the van unless I took it apart. So this YETI Trailhead Field Chair does what I needed. Right height, comfortable, and compact enough to store in the back of the van. It takes no assembly. Just unfold and sit. My only negative is that the photos on the website show two cupholders and I don't remember anywhere in the description saying cupholders were an extra add-on. Not a deal breaker, but it would have been a courtesy to explain that. Perhaps that has since been changed. Overall, well worth the money. Well made. I'll look forward to years of use.

Minimalist

This chair is perfect for a light-weight chair. I have the Hondo chair, but it was too heavy to take to my daughter's softball games. The Hondo is better for staying at home. I gave this 4 stars because there is no cup holder with it.

Good looking chair - made of ALUMINUM!

This is a terrific looking chair and it's easy to fold and put into its bag. But the absolutely best thing about it for me is that it's constructed of aluminum, not steel. (It's comfortable too, and easy to get in and out of.)
