Original was better but new version sets up faster

I bought two lounger DLs and two lounger SLs back in 2021. That version is no longer available and I wouldn't buy this new version but only because it no longer packs as small. I need chairs without small metal parts that corrode in salt water, pack small, can sling multiples on one person, are comfy enough for a nap, and are durable to last a long time. The originals did all of this extremely well, but the new version doesn't pack as small and can't easily carry multiple. The new configuration shortens the setup/takedown time, which is what my children constantly complain about. Yes, the originals are complicated to setup and pack but only when compared to a standard lawn chair. These are chairs for beach and camping trips, not for little league sidelines or tailgating. Longer setup and packing is a trade-off for both small and durable.

Perfect Seat
Yes , I recommend this product
Have used on sand, round rocks and sharp rocks, dirt, hardwood floor, and carpet. Works on everything. Very comfortable—can easily sit in for hours. Side pockets hold a lot. Drink caddy can handle up to a 32 oz Nalgene. Easy to set up and break down. Backpack bag is great. Would not recommend for backpacking but great for everything else.

This was my favorite chair. Unfortunately, due to it being very lightweight, it blew over into the fire and burnt to a crisp!
