This is by far my new favorite front tire. I do feel the extra traction that the channel knobs provide. I have ridden DHFs for years and always felt a bit loose. This tire solves the problem. I now prefer the Assegai front / Aggressor rear over the DHF/DHR combo for the desert southwest conditions.
I started off with this tire up front and I gained so much traction I use one in rear as well. Despite what others say about using one in back slows u down I can say that is false. Even my buddy on his e-bike had a hard time catching me on my peddle bike with this set up front and rear. These just simply help me go faster. I highly recommend this tire. It was designed by the worlds best rider Greg Minnaar. He's no slouch
