Maxxis Minion DHR II EXO TR Tire - 29 x 2.3
Light yet stable on aggressive rides, the Maxxis Minion DHR II EXO TR mountain bike tire has the same tread pattern as its downhill counterpart, but cuts weight with a single-ply casing.
- Side knobs look similar to those on the Minion DHF tire, but they're widened to provide more support when cornering
- Center tread features ramped knobs to improve acceleration and sipes to create a smooth transition when leaning the bike
- Paddle-like knobs on the center tread dig in under hard braking and help keep the bike under control
- EXO protection offers highly flexible, densely woven fabric that increases cut/abrasion-resistance in the sidewalls, making it ideal for rocky, treacherous trails
- Tubeless-ready (TR) allows for use without a tube; just add sealant

Is it made of lead?
Okay, I know it's popular and maybe I got a manufacturing anomaly BUT it is the heaviest tire I've ever owned. Great for downhill but that's it, in my opinion.
Good spring riding
These are just as promised, great for good spring riding aka mud.
Good tire for loose dirt. Can go wrong
Love the DHR for loose dirt. Max is never disappoint.
