Inspired by Ikon+, Maxxis Rekon+ EXO is an aggressive trail tire for intermediate technical terrain. Wide middle knobs add control when braking and L-shape side knobs add grip through loose turns.

- Dual Compound rubber tread provides a lower rolling resistance at center paired with extra grip for cornering
- Reinforced EXO protection offers highly flexible, densely woven fabric that increases cut and abrasion resistance in the sidewalls, making it ideal for rocky trails
- Tubeless-ready tire must be mounted to a tubeless-compatible rim and use a liquid sealant in order to retain air
- Tubeless-ready tires offer ability to run lower air pressures for improved traction, lower rolling resistance (compared to a tube-type tire) and decreased chance of flatting
- Wide trail (WT) casing is optimized for 30–35mm inner width rims

Great tires, but 2.5" actual mic'd width

Great grip, excellent cornering. I give four stars because it says 2.8 and I used a micrometer on it and it measured 2.55 at the widest point. I was expecting more balloon type tires, but am happy with them for sure. Just wanted to make sure everyone knew what they were purchasing.

Yes , I recommend this product
Really like the tire grip and want to give it a higher review but on the 5th ride on it I ripped off a knob on the back tire. Front tire is fine. Maybe this is a better front tire than a back.
