Looks great, but does not last

Great concept for a water bottle that holds hot and cold beverages. Interior glass almost looks as if it is not there and taste from morning coffee is gone when transitioning to water for the remainder of the day. However, the cap broke in half on day 3 and caused my bottle to go crashing down to the ground. Handle on cap also quite small and not comfortable to hold for a long period of time. Just disappointed in overall quality.

Beautiful - and it leaks

I love the looks of this bottle and I love the glass liner which makes the water taste better. I don't love the price and pondered a long time before buying it. Unfortunately, I found out the hard way that the bottle leaks, even when the top is on tight. If I can't throw it in my bag, it's not useful to me. Disappointed though.

Only works as promised for the first few months...

Purist bottles are gorgeous. The clean lines look great, but their selling point is that the bottle doesn't retain smells. It lived up to its promise for the first several months, but I've owned this bottle for nine months and even though I've followed their cleaning instructions to a tee, it's now no better than a Hydroflask. To make matters worse, I contacted their customer support to ask if this was expected or if my product was defective, and they basically ghosted me. That doesn't inspire confidence in their products.

Clean inside and out.

I got this because I wanted a bottle that fit into my pack’s side pocket and also into my car’s cup holder. It’s does both of those perfectly. The added benefits are that it’s vacuum sealed and GLASS LINED. I was told you wouldn’t be able to see the liner because it’s so thin (think of it as a coating) but I can tell it’s there b/c everything tastes better (coffee, beer, wine, soda, etc.). Overall, I love this bottle more than any of the other brands I’ve owned.

Sleek design, fits most cupholders, versatile

I haven't had any leak issues with mine. I love that it's not Hydroflask (what everyone has) and it's company's values is worth the "donation." I love that it's the perfect size to fit in my car cupholders and my bicycle bottle holder. I also love that I can put various drinks in it without it absorbing the flavors. I wish this size came with a union top because I'm just weird about drinking from metal. So, I'll be "investing" more into the company when I purchase the top.

The best water bottle ever!

I've used a lot of bottles over the years but NOTHING comes close to the fancy new water bottle that my husband got me for Christmas! This bottle looks very high end with its sleek lines/finishes. The feel of it is very nice. It has a rough texture so it's not going to slip out of your hand when it's wet. I have the 18oz mover with the union top which is by far the best lid I've ever drank a drink from. The inside of the bottle is amazing. It doesn't smell at all!! I have a real issue with water bottles smelling like chemicals, plastic or just some sort of rankness that builds up after drinking out if it daily. This bottle has an amazing interior that just can't be beaten. For this alone, it's worth every penny. I have found that my water intake has substantially increased since I've been using the Purist bottle because the water stays cold for hours and it tastes so fresh like you have just filled it up and also... the cap is just so good. The whole drinking experience has improved. The Purist is seriously the best water vessel I have come across and I would recommend it to everyone. This will be an expensive year as I just feel sorry for the rest of my family drinking out of their non-Purist water bottles so they will need replacements ASAP.

Purist

Wonderful for coffee and water. Usable for both without needing to wash the coffee flavor out prior to switching to water. Keeps hot stuff hot and cold stuff cold. Best leakproof lid and no dribbles.

Solid Choice

I’ve only had them (grabbed two) for about a month, but loving them so far. Also have Fellow, Yeti, and Hydroflask. As of right now, Purist is my favorite. (The union top does make a bit of a whistling sound as you drink, but you can lessen or eliminate by changing your mouth/lip position.)

Fantastic for office use

This bottle has been exactly what I need for office use. It's very sleek and professional. Doesn't need to be cleaned often because of the glass lining. Insulation works great. And wide mouth makes drinking experience very similar to a tumbler. Also I'm a big fan of the dark blue color.

Pretty water hauler

This water bottle was an impulse purchase for a slim go everywhere in a sling hydration solution. Some other reviews on leaking and handle breakage gave me some concern but REI has easy return. I have been pleased. The Element handle flips down and allows a very low profile bottle. It has not broken and I hope it doesn't. I did notice that after filling it can "leak" a bit but that is merely water trapped in the threads of the cap getting forced out and dripping after first sealing the bottle. Further testing reveals that it is tight. Some folks are concerned that the interior isn't glass. It may be vapor deposited silicon dioxide on a sturdy substrate. Better than an actual breakable bottle and it does seem to passivate against residual tastes. Oh, it keeps the contents cold. And it's beautiful, if that matters.
