YETI  Rambler Vacuum Water Bottle with Flip Chug Cap - 18 fl. oz.

We were so looking forward to getting our new Yeti Rambler Water Bottles with personalizations, but I have to say that I am disappointed, maybe it’s just ocd on my part, but it really bugs me that the bottle tops are crooked compared to the designs.

I like the design of this bottle but the button mechanism often sticks and I have to fiddle with it a bunch to get it to open. Not every time but often enough it's annoying.

The lid takes a day to get used to, but now I prefer this one-handed opening mechanism. It works perfectly with either hand and is completely leak-proof. While the mechanism feels flimsily attached at first, you quickly realize it is designed that way for easy operation. It would likely stay securely in place during drops, as I've determined based on how difficult it is to remove for cleaning. The 18oz size is perfect for car rides or a bedside table, but it is too small for a workspace if you want to avoid constant refills.

I bought this recently after having some problems with getting an over-tightened chug cap base off my rambler bottle. The flip chug cap lid works well. I just wish I could have bought the lid only for my favorite cherry blossom colored yeti bottle (limited time color) instead of needing to buy a whole new bottle, because the flip chug caps in all colors were all sold out. It’s easy to get on and off. The locking mechanism can be removed for cleaning.

Just started using it, came while I was on vacation! I really like the locking mechanism for the flip-top. However, the handle is bulky & gets in the way of being able to drink from the spout. I’ve tried changing positions of how I hold it, but still is not comfortable. Other than that, seems to keep liquids cold (haven’t used it with hot drinks), a good size, a bit snug in my car holder, but that I can deal with.

So happy with the new flip-top design. We were hesitant to buy with some of the negative reviews, but went for it and bought them for our 3 kids (ages 6, 9 & 11). They all figured out the flip-top design quickly and it’s been awesome. No spills, no accidental openings, easy to flip open, no complaints! We just bought them each another one in a larger size for school next year.

This Yeti is cool and very handy. The chug cap and easy locking and unlocking system are easy to use and make the container very useful. The screw in cap and locking system ensures no leaks and is easy to unlock to get a drink. Very clever design and easy to operate.

The bottle is great and keeps my drink really cold. Ice lasts for over 12 hours. I like the easy open and handle to carry. The only thing that needs improvement is the lid lock. It's almost impossible to unlock it. I have to fight it every time.

The new lid is not what I was hoping it would be. Very hard to drink with the cap in my nose and when driving you have to turn the bottle to avoid the cap in the nose and then you can’t see.
