YETI  Rambler Vacuum Water Bottle with Flip Chug Cap - 18 fl. oz.

We were so looking forward to getting our new Yeti Rambler Water Bottles with personalizations, but I have to say that I am disappointed, maybe it’s just ocd on my part, but it really bugs me that the bottle tops are crooked compared to the designs.

This lid is terrible, not sure how they approved this. The rotating part is super light to open the lid, but if you lock it, it takes way to much force to unlock it. And to close it, you have to reach to the back, flip it up past the handle, and use another finger to grab it, and close it completely. Also, the spring lid does flick water when you open it, which is common for these spring lid designs. I didn't even use the bottle, I just tested the lid, and put in for a return. Side note, I ordered the Olive/King Crab color. It looks way nicer in the photos. In real life the orange and green are very unsaturated.

I got this to stay hydrated on the commute and I love this bottle with this cap so much. It’s completely leak proof (I keep it in my bag) but easy enough to flip open for a quick, refreshing chug. Also, it’s so solid I can use it as a weapon the next time a crackhead on the metro screams at me for not carrying change!

I generally LOVE yeti products, I’m loving this royal purple too!. I’d been waiting for this flip chug cap (hate cleaning straws & don’t want mouth wrinkles!). I was shocked by some low start reviews on this product & so I read them. I must say there are definitely some issues with the lock ring getting stuck in the far left lock position. The lock ring can get stuck and won’t go back to center. I don’t really need it locked so it’s not too much of an issue for my day to day use. I’m torn between keep using it & hoping it doesn’t get worse (become more “sticky”) & reaching out for a new one. Idk if it’s a design flaw & it will happen to all of them or an assembly flaw in the one I happened to get.

I bought these bottles with the flip chug cap two months ago for my kids. They prefer this ones rather to the flip straw cap. No leaking. The lock is a great feature to have. They used them for school and also for playing sports. The liquid conserve the cold temperature for hours.

I like the design of this bottle but the button mechanism often sticks and I have to fiddle with it a bunch to get it to open. Not every time but often enough it's annoying.
