I backpack long sections of the PCT and bring a Vesica as added water storage that collapses down when not in use. Very sturdy, no leaks, everything you want in a bottle.
This is by far the best ultra light water bottle.
Bought this(and their water filtration bladder)years ago after multiple Sawyer bags failed in the field. I carry this as extra collapsible water storage on day hikes and filter into it when backpacking. I hope REI carries the full line of CNOC supplies, they are solid.
I bought one of these a year or so ago, and I loved it! I use it exclusively for electrolytes so I don't have that flavor in my other water storage. Being collapsible enough that I can stuff it anywhere or you can clip it to the outside of a pack easily.
