I like everything about this bottle except for the rust. The “stainless steel“ rim started rusting within a few days and it continues to rust after cleaning it. I checked the Hydro flask website and their FAQs included a rust issue. Since the stainless steel bottle that I used for six years never rusted I am doubting the quality of the stainless steel that Hydro flask uses.
I wanted a larger bottle to encourage me to drink more water. This one seemed perfect and I loved the color However it is too large to fit in any of my cup holders!! (Toyota Corolla) So I will have to return it for the 24 oz.
I went on a mountaineering trip in Alaska a couple of years ago and my tent mate had one of these and showed it to me. I was blown away by the difference in weight between this and the comparatively heavy Hydroflask behemoth I'd brought. I'm not sure how they made this one so much lighter but who cares? If you need to conserve weight, this is your fluid bottle!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this is the second time i am writing this review, hydroflask deleted my original one. but it must be said, the color is not at all emerald green, it is completely TEAL. i am so disappointed, i loved the way it looked online but what showed up was completely different. they should really update the color.
I bought an Ocean bottle because it was made with recycled materials. After a year it leaked so bad that I threw it away and bought a Hydro Flask. Wish Hydro Flask is a bit lighter with water in it. Otherwise it’s so far so good.
Moving from plastic to steel for my water bottles. Compared to my old Rubbermaid 32 oz is bigger and not used to it yet … but works like a charm so my future!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so very upset by this. The bottle looks emerald green online, but once it got here it was very obviously TEAL! I am very disappointed in hydroflask.
Very solid water bottle. I needed a bottle that wasn't a see-through plastic, and this met that need.
