Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy pop top I bought this after losing my Camelback bottle (where do they go?). Decided to try a different brand and the reason I went for the Avex is because it is slimmer in design and would fit in the cup holder in my car. I've been using it for a couple of weeks and as far as water bottles go it's been working out great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the Design! I really like all aspects of this water bottle. It's slim design and handle makes it easy to hold or store in car cup holder. I like the straw feature so I don't have to tilt my head back to drink. I especially love the cap with the retractable mouthpiece which can be covered when not in use. I find it can sometimes be a little loud when sipping if I overtightten the cap, so I loosen it enough to let the water flow more smoothly but not to the point it leaks. Planning to buy some for gifts for friends.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Companion Although there were several water bottles to choose from, the Avex Wells Autospout Water Bottle was chosen because of several reasons. One of the main features that made this a winner for me, was I could hold it in one hand comfortably, which made the one-finger autospout easy access. The mouth of the bottle was wide enough to get a few ice cubes in and the water was cold for the duration of my hike. My other bottles didn't have a straw, which meant I had to retrain my reflex to tilt the bottle. The bottle color (I got blue) was clear enough to see the water level. I haven't had a problem with the straw coming apart from the nozzle but I've only used this bottle for a couple of months. Overall the Avex Wells Autospout Water Bottle fits my needs and has been a good companion on my hikes.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Spout opens - extremly poor design I can't wait to return this terrible product. I was looking to replace my oxo bottle. So many things wrong with this: Spout opens in my purse. If you plan to place in a bag don't buy! Spout opens harshly spraying what's inside out. No good for anything outside water. No lock! The amount of strength it takes to sip will give me lip wrinkles by tomorrow! Seriously so much air and pressure needed for a small sip. REI said this was a trial product. Hope they don't fill another order, so bad...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too hard to sip I decided to give this a try because it would fit in my car cup holder and my backpack side pockets easily. But, I am regretting my purchase. When it comes to function, this bottle falls short. The closure is a bit catchy, but the mouthpiece/straw combo is the nail in the coffin: you have to suck way to hard to get a drink, and it's very airy. I think I will be returning this and going back to my tried and true Nalgene bottles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Makes water availability easier I bought this bottle a few weeks ago and appreciate the cover over the drinking straw and how easy it is to uncover the straw all with one hand while I am driving in my car. The handle comes in handy so I can attach a carabiner and then attach it to my pack.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from It's OK...but I bought this for a paddle trip. The bottle leaked through the straw for some reason, happened a couple of times... no fun waking up to a wet floor in your tent. The straw can fall out easily, annoying if your on a sandy beach

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broken Will be returning. The soft plastic to the straw had a tiny hole in it letting in a ton a air with each sip. Checked all the connections & all looks good, but doesn't work.
