Does the job well

This is a great product! Keeps ice for over a day, water stays cold. Drink spout is easy to deploy and closes securely. The jug can leak if the lid is not tightly closed, but that would be true of any product. I'm looking forward to really using it this summer when the weather heats up. The 40-oz capacity is a good size, too: enough water for a hot day, but not hugely bulky like some products. All the negative product reviews on this website are odd. In some cases, the review sounds like it is for an entirely different product. And it would be much more helpful to see reviews from actual REI users as opposed to dozens of comments from Stanley's website.

Perfect large water bottle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This water bottle does an amazing job keeping drinks ice cold for a long time. It even keeps it’s cool for hours outside in the Texas heat. The width is perfect & the indentions on the sides makes this 40 oz bottle surprisingly easy to hold. The straw is so simple to drink from that my 16 mo old is even able to get a drink. I never had an issue with leaks when the straw was closed but it will leak if the straw is up. It has been handy to have to help measure how much water I am drinking each day. Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this beautiful lagoon colored water bottle. It is the envy of everyone in my family.

Great water bottle but…

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this water for free thanks to stellar Panel Testing review. It’s a great water bottle but has some flaws. I had a hard time getting the lid to line up correctly. It definitely kept my water cold I would fill it up before bed and wouldn’t need to add ice until later the next day. I used it for working out and everyday life. It was easy to drink from but I found the spout kinda hard to pull up at times. I would say it is somewhat leak proof I can turn it over and nothing comes out but I forgot to close the spout and it spilled all over my seat. I also felt it was a little hard to hold for small hands.

Love my new water jug!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the design and functionality of this water bottle. I was looking for a new water jug at the time, I was going from a 32oz so the 40oz IceFlow was the perfect upgrade for me! I love cold water, I was able to go a whole 6-8 hour shift with this water bottle keeping my water the same which I more than appreciate. My favorite thing about this water bottle again is how cold and fresh it keeps my H2O! The only thing that is kind of frustrating, it does take me a little while to align the lid to get it to close right for me. Other than that I really like my new water bottle! I’ve never had a problem with this leaking on me, and the bottle itself is super easy to drink from.

No other jug like this jug

Love, love, love this jug! I'm not a typical Stanley Utah girl like so many others, but this was gifted to me through a company I used to work for and I absolutely love it. It's something that I didn't know I needed until I had it. It stays cold for hours in a hot car in Utah summer heat and always has a great taste. So easy to clean. I drink way more water having this thing around and even though it's a bit bigger than a normal water bottle, it comes everywhere with me. Mine does leak a bit if it's laying on it's side and it's full of water so I do have to keep it in an upright position in my car otherwise it will leak but it's worth it.

Excellent for keeping hydrated!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This container was very easy to use, clean, and fill. I experienced no leaking issues of any kind. The construction seems very robust and heavy duty - will likely stand up to abuse from rolling around in cars or coolers. Keeps water cold longer. I thought the handle was very sturdy and has a pretty neat feature for hanging it up. I’ve washed this container several times and it cleans very easily. I appreciate how much water it holds and how it maintains the temperature inside. Working outside in Texas, hydration is key and this Stanley container is my new go-to.

Extremely hard to clean

I've had this jug for years, and its insulation abilities are amazing. However, the lid has often leaked. Not enough for it to be a huge problem, but it is annoying. My biggest issue is with how hard it is to clean the lid. It does not have removable parts, and it can build up mold really fast. I have tried soaking in different modes of cleaning, but it feels like it is never really fully clean. I haven't really found any resources on the website on how to clean it either.

No, I do not recommend this product

Cleaning Issue!!!🙄🥹

I love my 40 ounce Stanley jug with straw and handle; however, I cannot figure out how to get underneath the rubber parts that are under the straw after you flip the straw up and drinking position. I’ve tried to find out on this site how to do so and I’m having no luck. When I lifted up the black rubber parts under the straw, which was very difficult to do by the way, the black specs of mildew grossed me out so badly that I cannot use this jug until I can figure out how to take off the rubber parts, clean it and then put them back on successfully. If anyone knows how to do this, please respond to this or write a review regarding it.
