How to measure your sit bones:
The key to getting a proper saddle fit is to accurately measure your sit bones. SQlab has developed a unique, simple and effective system for measuring your sit bones at home.

Find a hard surface such as a chair or coffee table, a 10 x 12 in. piece of corrugated cardboard (softer-density cardboard works best), a black marker or pen and a metric ruler.

Place cardboard flat-side down on the chair. Sit on it with your back straight and shoulders back. Pull yourself down with your hands to make a clear sit bone impression. Stand up. Your sit bones should have imprinted on the cardboard. Circle the outsides of the imprints and mark the centers clearly with a pen. Using a metric ruler, measure distance from center to center. Add 0–4 cm (based on your riding position) to this number to get your proper saddle size.
  • For tri positioning (torso parallel to the ground), add 0 cm.
  • For aggressive road positioning, add 1 cm.
  • For semi-aggressive road/MTB positioning (torso at a 45-degree angle), add 2 cm.
  • For commuter/urban positioning, add 3 cm.
  • For upright comfort (torso perpendicular to the ground), add 4 cm.

Extremely comfortable

Most comfortable seat I’ve ever owned. I went through six different seats on my newest mountain bike alone searching for a good one. Hands-down this was the best. I ordered the free factory fit kit to verify I was buying the proper size.

Absolutely game changing comfort and great design

I'm a former bike shop employee that rides an average of 3000 miles a year. I know how hard it is to find a bike saddle that works because what is comfortable for someone else might be a pincushion for you because of differences in anatomy, riding position and skin sensitivity. I've tried saddles from Brooks, Bontrager, Ergon, Specialized and more and never could quite find something that worked without a problem or compromise of some sort. Well, this is a revolutionary product in that the "active" part of the design is the adjustable padding that allows the saddle to move with you while you pedal, relieving pressure on the spine and minimizing common issues like leg length discrepancy, etc. I have 3 bikes and ALL of them have SQ Labs saddles on them now: 60X Active on the city bike, 610 Active on my e-bike/cargo bike and 612 Active on my road bike. The important thing: KNOW YOUR SIT BONE SIZE. Go to SQLabs website and ask for the free measuring kit. A saddle that works on a road bike will be too firm and narrow for an upright bike and vice versa. It's also important to start with the saddle level and bring the allen keys with you so you can make any minor tweaks in position as you ride. The saddle disappears from under you (assuming you are wearing a bike short with a chamois for longer rides, aren't you?) and it does exactly what it is supposed to do. I am so happy with this saddle and the other ones I've tried from SQLabs.

Great saddle

Great Enduro saddle for long climbs and downhill trails. Great support on the sit bones if you get the proper size. The "active" elastomers are great and the saddle tilts with the motion of your legs. Almost no saddle soreness on long rides. Much better than the Ergon SM comp Enduro.

Excellent saddle, outstanding perineal relief

I went from a Fisik Gobi to this saddle, feels strange at first but the stepped nose provides all day relieve of the perineal area, firm but with some flex. The elevated back works well on climbs and finding the best position on the saddle. I mostly ride enduro, moderately aggressive position, so I went with 1+ the size of the sit bones.

Shape didn't work for me

Shape of the flat nose didn't work for me. Replaced with a Fabric Radius.
