The saddle to try, only 50 dollars!!!
Very nice saddle. Have heavy REI bike that never seemed to make much speed for me. Got this seat after I started 40 mile trips that were busting my butt. It totally changed my bike into a speed racer. I was darting around and burning my legs on a flat run, like I had never done before. You need to try this 50 dollar seat if you like to ride long trips. By the way, I only bike in bluegeans with no pads, and my next birthday (months away) I will be 70

Not as wide as the specs
Per manufacturer website, this seat is 172mm wide, however the actual seating platform is only around 160mm, because the sides flare down. It basically does not support my 150mm wide sit bones properly and i don't feel secure riding on it. The firmness is just right but the nose of the seat is very uncomfortable for sensitive areas no matter how i adjust the seat. Overall i'm very dissapointed in this seat and feel that my purchase was a waste of money.

Beat me up a bit. Returned.

It may work for you, but I tried both the S and the L size on my fitness bike and both beat up and bruised my buttola (without using padded pants.) Plus the covering on these seats builds up moisture immediately between the pant and the seat. After 5 miles I had to return home with the S, and after 10 miles I could not take the L anymore. I am on the border sit-bone size and I used the Ergon online measurement tool also. I have been cycling for 30+ years on different bikes and have learned that you just have to try out saddles--what works for one person may not work for you. Eventually you will hit the right one. So I am going to recommend it--with a caveat: Test it close to home.

replaced my spin bike saddle with this and love it

I have a Keiser spin bike and us the Peloton App to spin a home. It was nearly the perfect set-up... but the Keiser saddle was painful and I hated the gel saddle cover it came with. I tried several replacement seats of all price ranges, they were no better. Until I found the Ergon SFC3 Gel. I used Ergon's website to determine which size I needed. I'm 5'10, 175 lbs and bought a size L from REI. If you are looking for a comfort seat that still provides performance and support, I highly recommend this one.

Fantastic improvement over stock saddle on Giant

This saddle has the perfect combination of support and comfort at a great price. I used the measurement instructions on the Ergon site which recommended size Large. Very few saddles offer the option to select a specific size. The size Large provides the perfect support points without being overly wide. I have also installed Ergon grips on two bikes and have been very pleased with them as well. Ergon makes a quality product at a competitive price.

Great saddle not too soft, not too hard

I used the saddle yesterday for the first time on a fitness ride, lasting about 1 1/2 hours. I am very pleased. I was riding in an upright position on a flat bar fitness bike. i rode with 4 different saddles this summer. This Ergon saddle fits well, supported my sit bones, and was comfortable. It seems to find the perfect balance, being neither too firm or too soft, nor too narrow too wide i don't ride with padded bike shorts.

Great Saddle. Perfect balance of size and padding

Many years ago I purchased a top level road bike and hated riding it. The bike shop owner told me “change the saddle” and my reply was “I just spent all this money on this road bike and now I’m supposed to change the saddle?”he informed me that saddles are a personal preference and everyone fits saddles differently. Since then I have had a short list of saddles that have been my favorites. Just purchased an errand bike and needed a new saddle. Saw this on sale and that it was made my Ergon and figured I give it a try. Wow! From the moment I jumped back on the bike it was pure comfort. This saddle fits in the “In Between” sizing category. It’s not a slim, minimalist, lire racing saddle but also not a love seat. Just the right size and perfect amount of padding. I would never put this on a road bike or any bike that will be ridden many miles at a time, but for a hybrid, cruiser or short errand bike, this is perfect. Going to order another as a backup

This saddle is really hard

I tried this saddle, because it seemed like it was constructed a little differently. It was a little longer and a little wider another Saddles I've had. It also has gel cushioning under your sit bones. Even with that oh, this is probably the hardest saddle I've ever been on. Even after two weeks in about 90 miles be better I will say it's made very well and it is a good quality saddle. It's just too hard for me.

Great, comfortable saddle at a great price!

Great saddle for the price! Major improvement over the stock saddle that was on my new Trek hard-tale mountain bike. Gel reduces pain on your bottom and works better than foam. Saddle was only 1 inch wider than stock saddle. Long, flat trail riding will be more enjoyable with this saddle. Ergon makes precision-engineered products you can trust.

Comfy, good value

I bought this for my pump track bike. The saddle is comfortable to sit on, and rest between laps.
