I’m a gravel rider and typically ride 20-40 mile rides. My three-year-old Fizik saddle was starting to cause some pain, so I looked into Ergon and I’m glad I did. Though it has a firm feel to the hand, the padding is enough while riding and more importantly the shape effectively keeps pressure under the sit bones where it should be. The surface has a slight texture that keeps me planted. The price is very fair and while I wavered with upgrading to the “core” version, reviews suggested they couldn’t tell the difference. I am happy with my purchase.
The saddle has not been comfortable for me. I’ve used it for three rides on a gravel bike 60 miles, 30 miles, 15 miles. I’ve been hoping that it would break in or I’d become accustomed to it but no such luck.
