Ergon Has a Great Saddle with this one!
I put this saddle on my Santa Cruz Heckler E bike and I find it to be one of the most comfortable bike saddles I have ever used. A long time fan of WTB saddles I find that this specific saddle is better for me because the state of the padding doesn't' crush out like others I have tried. The overall saddle design is excellent too. I bought the large\xl version from REI because they carry this specific saddle. Lessor models are not as nice as this one. It is my favorite and I am an old retired dude that likes my creature comforts while riding. Worth a hard look for sure. I am contemplating buying another one that's how much I like it.
Odd Shape and Easily Compressed Padding
I took this saddle out for three separate gravel rides for a total of 100 miles. Even after changing the angle and moving it forward and backward on the rails, I could never get comfortable with it. It would be okay for around 15 miles; then my sit bones would get really sore. The kicker was that my legs started to go numb on every ride. Not sure if it is the padding or the shape of this saddle, but it didn't work for me. The saddle is well-constructed and looks very durable. Maybe it will work better for you.
Comfortable road saddle from a lesser-known brand
I have struggled with saddles for a few years, having tried models from Fizik (Bull, Aliante, Argo) and Selle Italia (Flight, SLR/Boost, with and without cutouts). I tried ergon based on their innovations in mtb grips. This has been remarkably comfortable for me without sacrificing weight or looking like a "comfort saddle." Purchased summer 2024 and ridden 1500 road miles ranging from 15 mile to 105 mile rides. I'm now looking at a second one for my gravel bike.
Hard Pressure Points
Although the saddle was designed for men, the pressure points in the middle and sit-points were harsh. The saddle was hard and the center cutout was not deep enough. I returned the saddle and bought the Bontrager Verse Short Elite. For my body, it was a much more comfortable.
Comfortable Saddle
Comfortable saddle. Fits me just fine.
