Awesome all purpose shorts
Love these shorts for a variety of summer activities. Stretchy material makes them versitle, I've worn hiking (alone) and mountain biking (with a chamois). The waist is button in front with elastic in back. I wasn't sure at first but they stayed up for both activities. They can be paried with a belt if needed. Probably better for a curvy figure given the stretch and elastic. I am about 155 lbs and went with a large. Deep pockets but they don't zip.
Sizing is way off
I bought these shorts for mountain biking in hopes they would be durable, breathable, stylish and provide good coverage. They would check all those boxes, but the waist is huge! I'm 5'5", 130 lbs and ordered a medium. The shorts fit great in the thighs and butt and are the perfect length but the waist looks and feels like it's two sizes too big. This could be remedied with a belt but they idea of wearing a belt on my bike sounds terrible. They will be sent back.
Don’t buy
The waist is huge! You can tighten with a shoe lace type of belt then the waist bunches up and it looks ridiculous. I was desperate so kept them. Second time I wore then one of the handles on a zipper pocket broke making that pocket unusable
Cycling, Hiking or casual around town
I bought these shorts for mountain biking but I am also using them for hiking and casual around town shorts. Perfect length, fabric is light comfortable and quick drying, waist band has some tech elastic in the back for fit and comfort and there are plenty of pockets. I really want another pair of these and I’m sad that they only make them in one color. I am 5’9” and weigh 145-150 and wear size medium.

My favorite shorts for summer! Versatile- great for hiking, biking, or just relaxing. Very lightweight and comfortable in hot weather.
Light weight and comfortable
Super comfortable, and I love the color. These are a tad loose (I ordered a small) but not so much that it’s a problem.
Wide legs
Didn’t like the fit. Wide legs and too big. I’m returning these.
