Best.shorts.ever.
I have the shorts and the knickers - I love booth, but have been using the knickers more to keep the knees warmed and minimize the mid-thigh tan line. I love the waistband, can pull up over the pooch for a flat tummy under those fitted cycling tops; forget low-rise! On the sizing - I am an 8-10 and the medium works for me. I bought a large once thinking it would be fine, but they were a tad too big. I also think the material on these shorts are quality - they hold everything in nicely, are comfy and look as good as a bike short can! Until someone gives (scared to shell out $100+ on an unknown) me another pair of shorts I like as much or more, I am happy to rock the Terry exclusively.
Feels like a feather!!
Wow! I found a pair of bike shorts that fit and wick moisture well and feel light as a feather. I'm a petite 5' and regularly wear a size 8 pants so the medium shorts come to my belly button and fit fine. I tried the large but found that the legs were too loose. The grippers on the legs help the shorts stay put without binding and the waistband and padding are extremely comfortable for longer rides. There is no pocket on the shorts but I generally use my bike jersey anyway. If you're looking for a comfortable pair of shorts, you found them.
Love the padding
I guess I am in between a medium and a large. The waist is a bit big, I got the large, but the legs fit good. Love the extra height in the back so there is no gap between my shorts and tank - no sunburn! The chamois was just the right amount of padding where you need it. I'll be wearing these for an upcoming 60 miler. Once I trim those thighs down a bit a medium will fit nicely!
Good for one season
I bought these shorts last season for 40-60 mile bike rides and they were great. In particular the waist is very comfortable. However over time the chamois is no longer as supportive as it was. So my Pearl Izumi Attack shorts are for the longer rides and these are for quick rides and spin class.
Super comfy, flattering flat waist
Love these--I ride 100+miles a week and these are definitely my favorites for the longer rides (55+) and love the flat waist band. Other shorts I have are Pearl Izumi microsensor and cannondale and these are definitely the most comfortable and fashionable. Only con is no gel/key pocket. A bit on the slim fitting side so if in between go up.
Most comfortable bike shorts ever
I am very impressed with these shorts. I am in between a size 8 and size 10 so I ordered the large. They fit great. All I can say is if you have soreness in your sits bones, get a good bike fit, make sure you have the right size seat, and buy these shorts.
Great fit, Great cushioning
I really appreciate that these shorts aren't super tight on the leg and that they provide wonderful cushioning. I can ride for hours comfortably!
Most comfortable chamois I've ever used
I think the L size runs small - I started with a large which should have been fine for my size according to their measurment charts, but ended up returning for XL. The larger size was great - probably the most comfortable chamois I have ever used - not too bulky, but built in gel where you need it. Very soft lycra, and comfy waist band. I would buy again.
Worth it.
I finally decided to spend the money on a good pair of shorts. My butt is now spoiled. Nice waistband - doesn't dig into your stomach and the fabric is so much smoother than cheap shorts! These are "long" shorts, so check the inseam if you've got shorter legs and are concerned about tanlines.
Very comfortable
Fit is great. Slightly loose in the leg but does not ride up. The comfort band with no elastic at the tummy is great.
