I am 5’7” and 140 pounds. My measurements push the limits of M and I read the reviews about the tighter waist and ordered up. The L is way too loose and I am returning it for a M and hoping the waist will work. The waistband has elastic side panels for ease. I really like the skirt and the pockets. I purchased it for traveling and bike touring. I hope the M works. It will look sharp when it fits.

Tiny, tight waist, shorts not removeable

Ordered Size Large, it's way too small in waist, would never clear my hips, and would still squeeze waist. I doubt even an XL would do it, so returning and not sizing up. Had hopes for a new pair of comfy bike shorts/ skort. Somehow I thought the skirt was removeable, maybe from reading someone's review, but it is sewn to the shorts.

Great Cycling Skort

I purchased this skort (size small) and the Metro Lite skort (size small) during the last REI sale. I exchanged this skort for size medium and find the waist is more comfortable without being too large in other places. Overall, this skort is lighter weight than the Metro and the legs of the pant stay in place better (Metro ride up a bit). My phone fits well in the single leg pocket and is relatively easy to access while riding. I can't compare the chamois to others as this is my first outing with cycling bottoms. I have been riding 10-20 miles x 3/week and find these increase bottom comfort. I also kept the Metro Lite as I like the multiple exterior pockets and the solid fabric if I am going somewhere after a ride. I also like the separate pant that can be worn under sweats when it's colder outside.

Indie Skort

I love this but the waist is tiny! If you are thicker there I might size up. I ordered small my regular size and it fits but massive muffin top. I am more of an athletic small than a slim small if that helps. So I am trying Medium and hope it’s better. Otherwise it’s perfect!

Love this riding skort. I first ordered a M, but too long. The small fits great.

Nice bike skort

This is a great skort for biking. It's got a phone pocket in the shorts and is super easy to wash and hang dry. I wish it was just a tad longer but overall great piece.

Love the swirling skirt!

This cycling skort is comfortable and flattering. The chamois in Terry shorts is not as bulky as other brands and the skirt has a little extra volume, giving it a fun swirl. This is a great skirt for those days when you're on and off the bike or just want a little more fun in your day.

Love this skirt!

Love this biking skirt. Agree with some of the other posts about the waist line showing off the muffin top- a tie inside with less dense elastic would fix this. It is not uncomfortable though and wearing a loose top also helps cover. Skirt length is good. Short is long enough and does not ride up- a plus! Chamois is light without feeling like you’re wearing a canoe when off bike. Would love this in more colors!!! 5’6”, 160lb, large fit perfectly.
