Great boots, but too snug

I live be muck boots, I have a tall pair. I usually wear 8 1/2 normal shoe. I ordered the 8, it's a little snug but the 9 is a little too loose. I wish they made true half sizes

Bottom came off!

Loved these boots but in just over a year the sole separated from the top. I didn’t even wear them that much. For how expensive they are, they ought to be better made. Very disappointed!

Best Winter Boots Ever

This is my second pair of these boots. After buying my first (more colorful) pair last year, I quickly found that I wanted to wear them every day in the winter. Purchased this more neutral-colored pair for greater “fashion” versatility. Although not as effective as spikes or studs in ice, the Arctic Grip definitely aids traction (and you don’t have to deal with removing cleats every time you walk into a building!). Footbed is soft and supportive on sensitive feet. These boots keep me warm and comfy (except during long periods of inactivity outside, when toes do eventually start feeling just a slight chill). I normally wear 7.5 in active footwear and sized down to the 7 for a secure fit.

Will they be warm???

I selected these boots because the website rates them to -60. Boots just arrived; they’re rated to -40. Selected them for warmth in MN winter. I’m outside and active and I watch my kids Nordic ski races. It gets COLD! They were shown to be rated warmer and lighter than Sorels, which is what I’ve have and freeze in. I hope they’ll be warm. Update the website, REI. Ordered size I normally wear for street shoes and they fit fine. My feet are narrow and they fit well in foot area. The calf area is wide. I’ll need to wear snow gaiters.

Awesome boots!

These boots are fantastic. I was able to try on some other Muck boots before ordering these so I knew that they ran big. I usually wear a size 8 and ordered a 7 and they are perfect. I have large calves which usually makes for an awkward mid calf boot but the cut on these is absolutely amazing, no rub spots and no suction around my calves that I get from other boots. The ice vibram soles are a must in Winter (I live in Alaska). I wore them to work today thinking they may need to be broke in but the feel great right out of the box. These will be my go to winter boots for snow shoveling and just general errands around town!

Out of the Box

When these boots came in the mail I pulled them out, sli[[ed them on and headed to the barn. The past winter has been one of the worst in recent memory. The snow and ice build up has made the barnyard trecherous. These Arctic Ice boots are all they are cracked up to be. The soles grip the ice in a way I have never encountered with other boots. The fit is roomy and the boots are designed for easy slip on and off which is good when you work with manure. My work in the barn takes place in the coldest morning hours and I must be able to count on toasty, dry feet that I don't need to think about as well as constant sure footing. These boots have met my expectations in every way.

Toasty dry and grippy

Why didn't I know about these earlier? Having suffered from chilblains all my life finally I discover these super warm boots. Also no water is getting in! It's like going out on the wettest coldest most miserable day but for my feet every day is now a warm dry summer's day. Also the daily off piste woods walk with my dog is much more stable. Haven't had to grab hold of a single tree for stability. If you have to go out on wet cold days do yourself a favour and invest in a pair of these. I'm a size 3 and a half and bought size 4,s. Perfect with walking socks. Looking forward to testing these in Norway

Toasty boots!

The warmest boots for MN winters! I always have cold hands and feet, but since getting these boots, my feet are ALWAYS toasty. I have two dogs and spend a lot of time outside. Yes, the are spendy, but they are worth it !

Amazing Comfortable, Not Amazingly Warm

I've had these muck boots for about a month. They are super comfortable and have great traction. I'm not very impressed with warmth, however. When I went outside to shovel snow for around 15 minutes at 10F, I could feel the cold seeping into the boot. When I went inside and felt the top on the inside, it was cold to the touch. I'm really disappointed since these boots are rated to -40F. If I'm out for too long at anything below 20F, I wear two warm pairs of winter socks and this works well enough. However, I would not completely substitute these for other winter boot, such as Sorel.

I love this boot for mud protection

I bought my exact size and it fits great. I’m a normal calf size and it curves around my calf perfectly. If you have a larger calf I could see how it would be snug and possibly uncomfortable. I’ve only had them a week but have had them on everyday and so far I love them. I would buy again. Not sure about full price but at 50% off they are worth it.
