Faulty insulation and narrow forefoot

2 stars because I like the style and the leather appears to be good quality. But…..they run narrow in the forefoot which I found to be uncomfortable, and I have average to narrow feet. If I had bought them .5 size larger, they would have been too loose in the heel. The dealbreaker for these boots were that my feet were freezing in them. Literally my toes were numb just walking my dog in Portland, OR where it is not very cold. I have worn regular Blundstones for years without any insulation (which are much warmer than these) and I was looking for a cold weather insulated boot. I felt like these trapped the cold in the boot instead of keeping in the warmth.

Perfect Chelsea

I have been waiting for YEARS for Keen to bring back the Providence Chelsea (my absolute favorite Keen for all the decades I have been wearing Keens), and these Greta IIs fit the bill. Straight out of the box, they fit perfectly, are oh-so-comfortable and look great. The olive color is lovely and will go with absolutely everything. Do I sound gushy? Probably. But when you get to be my age (old) and have a hip issue and find a pair of shoes that makes you feel good, it is definitely something to gush about. The toe box is narrower than the Providence, so I ordered 1/2 size up so I could accommodate a thicker sock; my regular size would have worked too, so I have to say they are true to size.

Hands down, the best boots around!

I love these boots so much and they are perfect for my life on the farm. This is a replacement pair for a pair that is about 10+ years old. The soles and leather are still perfect, but the fabric around the ankle is worn out on that pair. I cannot believe how well they aged with almost daily use - walks, in the garden, in the snow & rain, etc. They are weatherproof and sturdy. I also bought them in black a few years ago, that is how much I love them. The black ones are my 'dress boots' and I wear them all over town. I've had numerous folks ask me what brand they are since they look so great.

Perfect Seattle boots

I’ve been looking for a comfortable, good looking, waterproof, and protective bootie with good traction for a few years now. The Keen Greta 2 fit the bill. I wear 8.5 in a keen Newport sandal but needed a 9 in these boots, as the 8.5 was too short. I have low volume feet so would have preferred the feel of the 8.5, because the 9 felt noticeably bigger in volume. But I removed the footbed and I added my own Superfeet insert and a thin Dr Scholls foam layer under that to make up for the extra volume. The foam layer addition also works well with the Included Kern footbed for this purpose. A perfect boot for life in Seattle. Loved it so much caught the other colors via REI coupon or sale. (Ps the olive color is olive drab, not as green as the Keen photo.)

So very comfortable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been having foot problem and Keens are one of the several brands I can wear. All my old winter boots killed my feet. I ordered these with the hope they would work. And boy do they! Once on I barely take them off. I have a wide foot and need the wide toe box. These did not disappoint! They're waterproof making them good to wear in the snow. They are a bit longer than others in the size I get but that hasn’t been an issue for me.

Sore feet. No cushion :(

The fit CHECK they are waterproof CHECK they are easy to get on and off CHECK, but they are extremely uncomfortable. The bottoms of my feet hurt so bad, there is absolutely no cushion what so ever. I really wanted these to work. They were exactly what I was looking for. I don't even know if I can return them since I have worn them in the snow and at work.

Love these!!

I LOVE these boots!! Warm (but feet don't get sweaty), comfortable, waterproof, and a good grippy sole. They are my go-to shoes for these cold winter mornings! With my other Keen shoes (low hikers, sandals), I wear a 10. 5, but that was too big for these boots--exchanged for a size 10, and they fit perfectly.

Poor fit & a downgrade of materials

Replaced my old boots with these. The old pair was great & very comfortable but the sole separated on one boot. These new boots are made of a much cheaper material. I’m not even sure it’s really leather and the fir severely hurts my feet. I’m returning the boots & cannot recommend anyone purchase these.

Not worth the pain

I like the look of them. It's a hiking shoe with a touch of classy. However, it's so. PAINFUL. My toes were screaming in pain after wearing them around the house. Also, my foot feels like it moves too much inside the shoe but it's tight at the ankle. Must return.

Great boots!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn't sure about this style of boot; I worried that it might rub/irritate my ankles. They do not. The footbed is firm, not cushy, the support is good, and that classic roomy Keen toe box is a life saver.
