Columbia  Minx IV Boots - Women's

What a great boot! I purchased these boots in black. They are beautiful, lightweight, comfortable, and so warm! I live in the northern Midwest and need a good winter boot that provides excellent traction, warmth, and waterproofness. This boot does it all. The height is perfect for getting into snow, and I can walk with confidence on ice and hard-packed snow!! Get the boots- you won’t regret it! BUT you have to get the sizing right. I am a solid size 6 in all boots/shoes across most brands and have been for 20+ years. I’ve never bought narrow width shoes, but let’s just say that my chaco sandals get completely synched! I didn’t follow the other reviews on my first order, and ordered them in my normal size and width 6M. I was sorry I did! My whole foot from big toe to both sides of my foot felt totally pressurized. So, against my better judgement, I reordered 1/2 size up and in a wide (6.5W). Never in my life would this make sense, but with these boots the fit is perfect! Columbia, your sizing makes this a hassle, but the product is absolutely worth it!! Pictured with my Sorels size 6.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have some 13-year-old Columbia boots which I still love (they’re just now losing their grip) and when I saw these I had to have them! The boots are so cute and I love the color. The fur is very soft, the laces are good, and the boots are warm and comfortable. The three stars are for the ribbon that wraps the back of the boot by the Achilles. Unless I’m wearing tall, thick socks, I can’t wear the boots at all and will be limping immediately from the rubbing. It’s painful. Definitely try these on and walk in them prior to purchasing! I hope they will break in.

And also to wear when I go up to the ski mountain or sledding with the grandkids. They are nice in formed fitting and are not big or clunky at all. They are also very warm. There is room to wear some cozy socks too. I usually wear a size 8 1/2 or 9 and I ordered a size 9. Really easy to lace up.

I have been in slushy, icy water past my ankles, and my feet were warm and dry! I have worn these boots in -20 blizzards while snowblowing and shoveling and had a pair of wool socks on and no feet warmers and my feet were never cold! Omni-heat really works! Excellent product! Zero complaints.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have already gotten the chance to wear these boots in Wisconsin -17F weather with a pair of regular cotton socks and my feet stayed cozy and warm! The insulation is great and boots are very cute with jeans and my parka! I am normally a size 8 and these are true to size, but I got an 8.5 W to have plenty of room for thick wool socks on long winter outings!

The ankle part of the boots has a hard lump that rubs against the back of my ankles and has left red sores! Who designed this boot? Ridiculous!
