Great! Sizing depends on foot shape!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just got these boots and really like them - with the massive amount of reviews saying they ran very small, I ordered one size up (usually wear an 8, ordered a 9). Unfortunately, I should have gotten my normal size because they are big on me. I have narrow and flat feet, so if that’s your situation as well, you probably don’t need to size up. They were extremely easy to to get on and my heels slip out when I walk, so I doubt sizing down to the 8 would have made any big difference there. Other than that, they are comfortable and warm! I’m planning to mostly use them for dog walks and dog park, so don’t mind if they’re a bit big. I’ll just buy some extra thick socks and make it work!
Beautiful but not easy to put on!
These boots are exactly the style I’ve been looking for…..BUT they are extremely hard to put on. There is a piece of material between the side zipper that makes it take about 5 minutes to get your foot into the boot. Also the zipper always seems to catch on the material when removing the boot. I want to remove the material between the zippers but don’t want to ruin the boot at the same time. Therefore they are a beautiful looking boot but were designed terribly. I would return but have worn them outside already. Just wake up an extra 10 minutes for time to put these on!
Can’t get foot in boot.
I ordered these online so wasn’t able to try on in store. I’m a true size 8 medium in ladies shoes which is what I ordered. I got these today and couldn’t wait to try these on. I can’t even get my foot in the boots. I thought they sent the wrong size but the box and tag in boot said 8 M. There is no give in the fabric. The zipper was hard to unzip. Still once I got it down I couldn’t get my foot down in the boots. These are so cute and they look to keep you foot warm but sadly I’m sending these back.
Impossible to put on
I was SO excited to find these boots. Plain black, warm, not too tall. Just a simple winter boot for everyday use. I ordered a size up because I heard they ran a little small. Even with a bigger size... I can't even put my foot in! Like how does this even work? When I hold them up to my foot they are too big but the ankle opening is not big enough to allow your foot to slip through. How in the world did this past quality control? I see other people are mentioning the same thing. So bizarre.
Thise aint it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Teririble fit. I usually don't wear wide shoes but my last columbia boots were a little too snug so i noticed they changed something for sure and this year ordered wides. The fit is still sooooo narrow, it's ridiculous. I could not get my foot in there because of the fabric piece between the two sides of the zipper. I don't know what changed at Columbia but I'm supper disappointed with a second pair of boots when i used to have so many old pairs that fit well.
Perfect for me now
The boots are warm, waterproof, and the traction is great. Sizing: I went up half a size per comment recommendations, and even with the size up, the boots were a bit snug at first until they were broken in. They have loosened up a bit, but I wear orthotics so they fit perfectly for me now. Just be aware when figuring out sizing.
Sole ripped off after trying it on
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Shoes looked so cute when they arrived. Bought these for a trip to Iceland but I’m not sure on how warm they actually will be. However my biggest disappointment was after trying them on the sole for my left foot completely ripped off. I was in complete shock. Will be returning
Nice but hard to get on.
These are very hard to get on. The fabric doesn’t give much. I had to get a 12-16 inch shoe horn to use to get these on. Once I got my foot down in them they were comfortable. The zipper kept getting caught on the fabric. Other that that they’re nice boots.
Cute but disappointing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cute and comfortable but the zipper on the side gets stuck easily on the excess material and the tread does not hold up well on ice. I’ve never slipped more in any Columbia boots than these.
Kept warm as long as socks were thick/woolen.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] On a trip to Finland it worked well except on one day when paired with regular socks. With regular socks feet got cold when we were out in snowy conditions.
